In similar recent news, The Criterion Channel is now streaming some of Makoto Shinkai's earlier films and shorts. All the stuff licensed by G Kids, I believe:

Quote:
FEATURES: The Place Promised in Our Early Days (2004), 5 Centimeters per Second (2007), Children Who Chase Lost Voices (2011), The Garden of Words (2013), Your Name. (2016)

SHORTS: She and Her Cat (1999), Voices of a Distant Star (2002)

The Garden of Words is still licensed by Sentai Filmworks, while Crunchyroll has Your Name.

Right, it's even more mixed up than I thought. G Kids has Weathering with You apparently (and that one's streaming on HBO Max... but not the others they've got). Guess all these different licensors means no nice Shinkai blu-ray box set anytime soon. XP

That's strange. It doesn't seem to be here on Netflix Singapore.
