I feel like I might have seen a live action movie adaptation of this manga on Netflix a few years ago. It sounds familiar.

Its not that people forgot what high school was like
its that for some folk they actually excelled at it.

Then they find a mysterious notebook and
a tall dude who really likes apples
and it's all down hill from there.
