MediBang Paint Adds iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Support

Tokyo, Japan. — Dec 7, 2015

MediBang Paint made several updates to it's free digital painting iPad app for the release of the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.




MediBang is focused on giving artists the tools they need to create art no matter where they are. MediBang's slogan is “Make any device your canvas” and they aim to help artist do that by providing MediBang Paint on numerous platforms like Mac OS X, iOS, Windows, and Android. MediBang's cloud service makes it extremely easy for users to switch between any of these platforms while working. The ability to transfer their work between desktops and mobile devices will make artists more productive than ever before.

In order to take full advantage of the iPad Pro's larger screen size and powerful processor, MediBang has made the following adjustments.:

  • Apple Pencil support for a smooth drawing experience.

  • Canvas size has been increased up to 10000x10000px

  • Brush size has been increased from 300 to 500px



Future Updates
MediBang plans to incorporate the Apple Pencil's tilt sensors in future updates to give users even more control over their art.
