| Eyeshield 21 (TV) | Very good | American-rules football may have been portrayed in Anime before (Sailor Moon and an episode of Pokemon come to mind) but the game has never been the focus of its own series before. Since football is still fairly new to most Japanese, the show slowly covers the rules ala Hikaru no Go. It might not be the best anime out there and the producers may have goofed on a few of the rules of the game but I, as a huge Football fan, am loving every minute of this show. |
