| Agent Aika (OAV) | Decent | Panties, panties, panties, panties, panties, panties on toast, panties with coke and can I hamburger, with picklels, onions, lettuces, tomatoes, mustard with a side order of panties? ARRRRG! The show that put it's mark on the map for the most panties ever seen in anime anime EVER! Not to mention fans of this flick had nothing better to do but count how many panty shots appear in each episode. And again this is from the same creators that did 'Project A-ko'. Shows you how far they've come. Then again A-ko had some panty scenes and a scene with numerous amounts of "dirty" panties. Nothing-like-slapping-you-in-the-face-with-very-blatant-scenes of fanservice-because you're-a-guy-and-guys-like-that-sort-of-thing. But if you can get past that and some very odd relationships then you'll find there is a story. Unfortunately I never had the chance to finish this series. But from the episodes I did watch, I wanted to stick around for the ride. |

| Cutey Honey Flash (TV) | I don't know why they have this down as a sequel, IT's NOT! It's a retelling of the 'CH' story only thing is that they took a very "shoujo" approach this time. Or what I like to call the 'P.C.' version of the series. Sorry but no crazy lesbian teachers, dirty old men or Honey's-skirt-getting-ripped-on-a nail-to-show-her- "white" undies. If you expected that then you came to the wrong show. All in all it's still enjoyable. If you're a 'Honey' fan. The villains are still ugly of course, but this show's got love and roses in the air. Not to mention some very good looking guys. This was probably the one installment that probably pushed the argument of whether 'CH' goes into the category of "magical girls". Sure she transforms and all but that's about it. She doesn't use magic so she doesn't really fit into that category. But who knows maybe. For both shoujo and shounen. | |
