Cowboy Bebop (TV) Excellent Great animation, great music, great action, great characters and great ending. Not all episodes are excellent, but many are. Since the majority are stand alone, I've rewatched my favorites many times.
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV) Excellent Probably the funniest anime I've ever seen. Sagara is a such a great character. Not much else to say.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (TV) Excellent This anime's setting is very interesting and quite believable. The animation is top notch, not matched by any other series I've seen. The music is great too. The stories are well written and often deal with very interesting concepts that make you think. Some stories are better than others, but every episode is worth watching. However, it does get a little too information intensive from time to time, which can make it hard to follow. If it wasn't for that, I would have rated it as masterpiece.
Golden Boy (OAV) Very good One of the funniest anime I've seen, and it's impossible not to like our "hero". Nice fan service too. I have rewatched this one a lot, since each episode can be watched individualy.
Mahoromatic - Automatic Maiden (TV) Very good Very funny anime, but not without substance. Great use of animation and some nice fanservice. Mahoro is very cute, and her voice by Kawasumi Ayako fits her perfectly.
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Excellent
Monster (TV) Excellent Excellent drama and well crafted story, with many great characters and subplots. This anime is very different from what you usually see, which is good. The portrayal of Germany and other European countries seems very accurate - it could've been shot on location.
Mushi-Shi (TV) Very good What makes this anime so good is the feel, partly accomplished by the great animation and music. The episodes are stand alone, but I find myself very involved in each of them, because I quickly take a likeing to the characters.
Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) Very good This was my first anime. It has its faults, but I love it for what it is. Some parts of it I think are brilliant, others I dislike. The story could have been easier to follow and there are a few plot holes, but I really like the characters and the drama.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie) Very good Very dramatic and violent ending. I thought it was great, but a little too hard to follow. Maybe a little overdone too, when it comes to the symbolism and religious references. But there are just so much coolness packed into this movie. The action scenes are some of the best I've ever seen.
Planetes (TV) Excellent Very interesting and plausible science fiction setting with great attention to detail. The concept is very original. The characters are likeable and the drama between them is played out well. Every episode, the ending included, is good, as is animation and music.
Please Teacher! (TV) Excellent Best romantic comedy I've seen. It is both very funny and touching. The characters are very likeable. I really liked the colorful animation, especially the gorgous backgrounds.
Read or Die (OAV) Very good This one is short, fast paced and fun with lots of really good action scenes. Because of that, Read or Die is probably the anime I've rewatched the most times.
(The) Twelve Kingdoms (TV) Excellent Even though this series has no ending, it was excellent while it lasted. "Huge", well crafted story, with many sub plots and lots of intriguing characters. If everything was concluded nicely, I would have rated it as masterpiece.
(The) Vision of Escaflowne (TV) Excellent
Zipang (TV) Excellent I really love the concept and the attention to detail. The whole dilemma the crew faces is very intriguing. The pacing could be faster, but I havn't been bored for a even second. The animation and music is great too.
