Ai Yori Aoshi (TV) Very good
Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~ (TV) Very good
All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku (OAV) Excellent
Carole & Tuesday (TV) Excellent
Carried by the Wind: Tsukikage Ran (TV) Good Good short series, fairly episodic so there is no arching storyline of any kind. That said, after 13 episodes there's not really an ending for this one either. I'd still say its worth checking out at least once.
Castle in the Sky (movie) Good
Chobits (TV) Good
Eiken (OAV) Not really good This wasn't the best anime to begin with, but I have to give the English voice actors credit, they did the best they could with what they had to work with.
FLCL (OAV) Excellent
Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) Very good
Giant Robo (OAV) Very good
Girls Bravo (TV) Not really good I heard all kinds of horrible things about this show before I ever saw an episode. But in the end it is no where near as bad as its been portrayed to be. That said I think its biggest problem was ever aspect of it was too overdone.
Grenadier (TV) Very good One of the better shows that some might not have heard about. Rushuna Tendo is a great character in spite of her most obvious assets. That said my only complaint is that as a 12 episode series it was over far too quickly.
Gunsmith Cats (OAV) Excellent
Gurren Lagann (TV) Very good
Hand Maid May (TV) Decent
Kasimasi - Girl Meets Girl (TV) Very good Ending seemed a little rushed, but otherwise a good series. I just couldn't recommend it to casual viewers because of it being a subtitled only release. But that would be the only reason I wouldn't recommend it.
Kiki's Delivery Service (movie) Very good
Koi Kaze (TV) Excellent
Love Hina (TV) Very good
Lucky Star (TV) Very good
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Masterpiece This quite possibly may have replaced Tenchi Muyo as my all time favorite anime. I've only had the box set for a few months and I've already watched it in full several times.
Midori Days (TV) Very good
Moldiver (OAV) Decent Good series from the old days of english dubbing, my only minor gripe was the female lead's voice, it seemed like she was trying too hard to create a "cute" voice similar to the original Japanese
New Cutey Honey (OAV) Decent
Omishi Magical Theater Risky Safety (TV) Excellent Great show, it is the perfect anime for the younger set, that is if you have younger ones you wish to share your love for anime with.
Outlaw Star (TV) Good Most definitely a classic from the Toonami era of anime. See it and you shouldn't be disappointed.
Phantom Quest Corp. (OAV) Very good Fairly decent show, I just wish there has been more to it than only the 4 episodes that were made.
Please Teacher! (TV) Very good
Please Twins! (TV) Very good
Princess Mononoke (movie) Excellent
Project A-ko (movie) Masterpiece While it may not be good for introducing someone to anime. This is something anyone that considers themselves as an anime fan should see.
Read or Die (OAV) Good
Rumbling Hearts (TV) Good
Shuffle! (TV) Decent Not the best anime series. Started off as a bland cookie cutter harem/comedy series, but later on drops more and more emo bombs on the viewer and honestly tries to take itself too seriously towards the end. I think I'd recommend Girls Bravo over this one if you just have to see a harem series and you've already seen the likes of Ai Yori Aoshi, Love Hina, Negima, or Tenchi Muyo.
(The) Slayers (TV) Good
(The) Slayers Next (TV) Very good
(The) Slayers Try (TV) Good
Spirited Away (movie) Excellent
Steel Angel Kurumi (TV) Good Pretty decent show, never expected to luck into finding it after it being out of print for such a long while. The first season was very well paced and while starting off like fanservicey fluff it evolved into something deeper and darker. The OVA episodes while good didn't hold up quite as well, but were still entertaining. The second season unfortunately is the biggest disappointment of all. No explanation at all for the sudden jump ahead in time 75 years, and sudden turn into something extremely yuri centric hurt matters more than it could have ever helped.
Strawberry Eggs (TV) Very good Fun series that manages to deal with a few male and female issues as well.
Tenchi in Tokyo (TV) Decent Very weak in the first half of the series save for the episode "Ryoko's Big Date". It picks up later on, but it may not be enough for some to stick with to the end.
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki (OAV 3/2003)
Tenchi Universe (TV) Very good Definitely one of the better anime series from the Toonami era. Has an excellent dub for its time, and of all the Tenchi Muyo related series it has the best ending.
Tenjho Tenge (TV)
Vandread (TV) Good
Vandread: The Second Stage (TV) Good
