Top 10 Rating Comment
Akira (movie) Masterpiece 7. This movie is an instant classic to say the least. What's more sad is that this was made a decade ago and the art/animation is still equal to some of the anime shows coming out right now.
Elfen Lied (TV) Masterpiece 1. Anime complete with everything you need wrapped up in 12 episodes that don't feel rushed. What more is there to ask for?
Ghost in the Shell (movie) Masterpiece 4. The movie that started it all for me. Yes, my first real anime. And was i blown away by the detailed art, animation and story.
Ninja Scroll (movie) Masterpiece 5. Enough action packed in this movie to last decades. Can't call yourself a true anime fan without seeing this.
Princess Mononoke (movie) Masterpiece 6. Great movie about demons, a cursed prince, a girl raised by wolves, and humans waging war with the forest. On par with Akira's art and animation, but with a more loveable story.
Rumbling Hearts (TV) Masterpiece 9. Rumbling Hearts, as the name implies this is about...hearts...or relationships for that matter. The story is filled with drama that didn't go stale like some anime's.
School Rumble (TV) Masterpiece 2. Funniest anime ever, puts Love Hina and GTO to shame! This series reached the peak with both seasons of 24 episodes each and 2 oav's and only had 2 decent episodes. But lets get down right to it, when you have to pause an anime because your laughing too hard almost every episode it deserves to be in a spotlight.
(The) Twelve Kingdoms (TV) Masterpiece 3. An extremely detailed story that's full of hard times, suspence, and drama. A little light on the action but when it happened it was greatly animated.
Welcome to the NHK (TV) Masterpiece 8. Enough facts in this anime to relate with in real life. The humor was great and very dramatic at some times.
Zegapain (TV) Excellent 10. Putting FMP and Gundam aside this series has it all in the bag. Love, loss, humor, action....and above all...mechs. This series delivered with great episodes even at the end.
