It's not the greatest anime, but if you like school dramas that have no great point to it, this would be for you. I hated high school so seeing them actually enjoy it so much that they cried because they were leaving seemed to hit a sore spot with me. -_-; Glad it's over. |

| Baccano! (TV) | Excellent | While there's a ton of characters in this series, it's really complex and interesting. After watching it for the first three episodes, it's hardly noticeable that there's at least 20 characters roaming about. It's a very awesome show, I love all the violence and only wish there were more of it. ^_^ |
| Bamboo Blade (TV) | Excellent | I don't know if I was expecting much from this, but it was really freaking amusing. It has one of my most favorite female characters ever! ^_^ Miyamiya rules. Can't wait to see more about her back history. |

Vaguely interesting show... definitely want to see the rest of it. Mostly to see if there's an actual story to the Bartender guy himself or if it ends up being only about his customers. I think it's because I get to see the relationships between the people playing and it's not just a bunch of men throwing a ball around for no good reason. So can't wait to see the rest of this. ^_^ |

It's a good way to end it, if there's a second season waiting in the wings. I have no idea if there is, but at this point, I want more! -_-; |
| Black Cat (TV) | Very good | Okay, the people who had problems with this need to be smacked. Hard. I know it's hard going from the manga to the anime where a lot of things were changed, but if you have an open-mind you can see that the changes aren't all bad. In fact, I sort of really enjoyed the ending they tacked on. (I like them all working together, especially Creed. ^_^) Though for myself, I'm just glad that no one I liked died. In fact, I found it funny that the only one that (I remember) died in the anime was one of the people they made up for the anime and wasn't in the manga at all. (No sentimental attachments there at all. HA!) Though I would have liked to see more of other characters... but that's just too bad. Sigh... I have my dreams! ^_^ My only real complaint is that it was too short. Look at it this way, Kenshin had 95 episodes, it's manga had 28 volumes. Black Cat had 20 volumes... and 23 episodes. That isn't right! -_-; Damn you! |

| Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black (movie 3) | Excellent | Really great movie, loved seeing the different powers used for so many of the characters (especially Kisuke, my love for him has grown). Only few disappointments were a few missing characters and the fact that everything revolved too much around these damn missing memories. Like, oh, you don't remember, and you don't how sad, I shall beat the memory back into you. |

(I've got quite a few, there's a lot of great characters.) It was nice to see him featured. Story good, too many characters about to get much featured out of my other favorites, sob, but still one makes do. |

| Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 (TV) | Decent | I have so many problems with this, but there's also some perverse part of me that wants to like it non-the-less. So let's just say in and of itself it was an okay series. As a sort of spin-off of the original, I hate it. I didn't like them changing their personalities, looks, and the storyline. I liked the way they were in the original, why couldn't they have just did something based on that? And why does Leon have to be so wimpy now? They tried to make him into this macho guy and ruined his whole appeal. -_-; So if it were a series in and of itself, without the same names, the only thing that would bother me is how things just seem to happen and you're supposed to accept them without any amount of explanation. That and the least little bit of the ending pissed me off. I liked the light show before it but that singing in the desert crap does not cut it for me. -_- |

(that is unless Conan wanted you to know something... geez.) I also sort of like the idea of killing people just because their name involves some sort of number (not that that was really the reason for the killing but it's an amusing thought). I can't see how they'd bring this over to the US easily considering they changed all their names so it wouldn't make any fucking sense. That and shooting Ran in any situation seems like a good idea because she's being sort of stupid. Yes, Conan is Shinichi, get a fucking clue. -_-; |

He may look like Shinichi, but damn, he has such a fucking clever mind. (Especially when it starts off with the death of a kid... ^_^) Didn't even really matter if it followed the kids or not, I really liked it. Though the distinct lack of Kaito Kid was noticed... and glared upon! How can he not be in every movie? :P It's definitely peaked my interest in Sherlock Holmes... will have to read those stories sometime soon. |

Especially if the Baron and that prince were around. Whoo. Nice. Love how they sort of covered up that relationship. The Baron and Haru are so getting it on! You know it! Though I find it funny in the end the one rapist turns back into a normal guy and one of his rapees is waiting and watching for the rapist in him to return. ^_^ |

It was a really strange anime, but I found myself enjoying it in some strange fashion. Though that's perhaps the best way to have a kid ever, it all happens in one day. Conception, birth, growing up, and then death. (And isn't any baby that comes out of the womb with a pair of guns blazing cute? :P) |

| Death Note (live-action movie) | Masterpiece | I'm really quite impressed with this movie, despite thinking a few things strange of what was changed and who was cast for the majority of the cops on L's little task force, but I can't think any of that truly bothered me. They did an especially good job on Ryuk, a lot of the live-actions that have CG tend to look sort of cheesy at best but this was really good. ^_^ (Was also really glad I saw the 2 movies together at the same time, if I'd had to wait for the second movie, I would've been pissed off.) |

That animation for the ending and opening is simply beautiful and I've no complaints about anything. (Really like how they made the eye catches the rules for the book, it's more interesting then most of the ones I see.) The only reason it's not rated at a Masterpiece is because I hate the fucking ending. In no way should it have continued after L's death. |

| Death Note: The Last Name (live-action movie) | Masterpiece | The manga end left me horribly dissatisfied and angry. I hated Near and Mello with a fury and wish that Light could've taken them both out. Settling for less than that would've been bad. But with this, they changed it so the ending was definitely better. If they'd suddenly shoved those pricks in, I would've found it hard to love the movie. But they didn't and I thank whoever made the decision to change the ending. I'm glad it was L that got to finish things the best way he could, I'm still sad that he had to die, but if one has to die, may as well be both. ^_^ |

The ending was good, was sincerely hoping they weren't going to take a bad turn there and they didn't, so yea! Only other thing, I wish they would've gone more into his business part of things. I think they had a bit in the first episode, not that I remember it all that well (I was distracted?), but it would've been nice to see more. |

I was only confused a bit on a few things, some of the plot, and Conan's supposed perfect pitch. Doesn't having that mean you shouldn't be tone death? I don't get it. -_-; |

And as a secondary bad guy, the tourist-monger guy was also easy to find out. GSR on his clothing, :P! (Or powder, really.) I loved the pirate element, especially that it was the only two famous female pirates. ^_^ I'm glad Ran did a better job of not being a damsel in distress this time, she can get rather irritating with that at times. Kick ass, you know how to do it! I just wish Kaito Kid were around. I'm sure he'd make a great pirate. ;) |

O.o) His hair changing so much just weirded me out and sometimes he looked like a girl (which would've made sense if I meant when he had long hair, but I don't, I mean when he cut it before he left for England, but only then. Not when he had for the rest of the anime... it's just weird!) That and the couple just made no sense to me seme and uke wise. I would've gone the other way around if I did the pairing at all. They're both too seme-like for me. And my biggest pet peeve of all is the ending. I'm not a big fan of the whole character dying, though I find it even worse when they both kill themselves... and damned if I didn't predict what's his face was going to kill himself after Akizuki. (He seemed way too dependent for his own good.) But damned did he look good in his suit. Would have been nice to see Akizuki in a suit too. Ah well... |

I liked a great majority of the characters (and there was a lot of them) and the story interested me, though if it had ended where it did and not had the other series, I would've been so fucking pissed. That was the stupidest way to end a series or a season. It made no sense and was a big cliffhanger. -_-; Well, will eventually watch the rest of it. |

(I especially love that Nabeshin made numerous appearances, even if a lot of them were just appearing in the background after his episode.) It was mostly light-hearted fun, with vague bits of story thrown in. I loved Himegami, wish that he'd appeared in more than a couple of episodes. ;_; (He looks like L under his mask.) Love that guy, he won't share his banana with you! I'm happy to hear there's going to be another season, there's a lot I hope they do with it, especially with Hayate's parents, it'd be nice if they were dealt with. -_-; |

The whole chinese/japanese thing was confusing the fucking hell out of me. I'm aware they did a joint thing with the movie, but did they have to do it so it was mostly chinese with random japanese thrown in there every so often? It kept throwing me off. Especially with the names. -_-; With the music, I missed the random techno music... they did have some good music playing, but I like the music they used during the anime better. (They didn't even have the best song in the driving parts as far as I could tell, that song playing in the credits is damned good.) And the actors, boy were there a lot of hot guys! Yeah! ^_^ Though I had a few problems with the way Bunta was portrayed. I don't remember him being that much of a drunk or abusive in the series. What the hell? -_- Then they totally cut what's his face out of it. (The other one of the Akina people.) It seemed like they did a majority of the first season and then threw in a few key parts from the other ones. (Like the whole joining up in the D project thingy.) That didn't really bother me, though it would've been nice if they'd saved it and made more movies. And I really loved the crashes. Whoo. That last big one, never was one like that in the anime (as far as I can remember) and it was fucking fantastic. Too bad the car didn't explode as a finale. ;) |

(Yeah, that's smart.) So the girl in the cursed bra gets raped, and all these guys keep calling out that they want turns with her and there's this other girl sitting there having to molest herself because she doesn't have the cursed bra. Of course getting a brain towards the end of her raping she takes off the bra and the guys wander off the elevator. (Which obviously had been held in a state of suspended animation so she could be raped.) So what does the other girl do? She offers a friendly hand up as if that was all she could've done for her and obsconds with the evil bra. ^_^ |

The second installment seems to have gotten "more sleazy", where the train doesn't seem to be about saving a town anymore and is entirely for some "sleazy" cooperations profits. I find it funny how that one guy just accidentally dies and they replace him as if he never existed. I'm sure that works for those involved with the cooperation, but what about the students? They knew that guy was working there, what did they do, bribe all the students? -_-; |

That and Heihachi's death really sucked, crushed by debris and then having to blow himself up while shouting crap about rice? -_-; And I really like the idea of that big metal guy and the little girl, so why the hell did they have to kill him off? I wanted to see some little girl on metal guy loving! :P And the whole thing with what's her face and Kambei was sort of out of left field but it wouldn't have been so bad if she'd gotten with him after all that. Seems space travel should take a bit more time than they're saying. -_-; (It's a nice if you don't want to think about it too much.) Now I want a freaking soundtrack that 'Wandaba, Wandaba' thing got stuck in my head. Sob. (That and the farting in the outtakes traumatized me. O.o) |

| Whisper of the Heart (movie) | Masterpiece | Well, I guess most would think I wouldn't like this movie but I am a die-hard romantic (meaning my inner romantic refuses to die, no matter how hard my inner rage tries to beat the crap out of it). I sort of felt connected with the story in a way (love to read and write, about it, but hey, that's enough). The only thing I find horribly ironic is that they played Country Road through the movie and my mum was watching it with me (mum's from West Virginia). So she's start singing along with it, even with the Japanese version which is sad because she doesn't know it! |

| A Wind Named Amnesia (movie) | Decent | Upon figuring out what the plot would be after the first oh... five seconds of the opening, I decided that I should make it more interesting. I decided that it'd be a harrowing tale of the zombie killer. Oh... it was so exciting, until the zombie's rallied around a leader that actually had a thought in his head. This leader was known as Wataru! Oh how it angered the zombie killer, so he went after Wataru... everything else was a blank. And in the end, poor zombie killer is killed in a horrible twist. How sad I was... ;) ^_^ |

I'm left wondering at the fact that these are fantasys that some people have. ::shakes head:: Ah well, whatever floats people's boats. I'm not one to judge. ^_^ |

So much that I forgo sleep just to download it's precious episodes. ^_^ It's a little bit different then the manga, but it's alright. I hope that they still have the crossovers with Tsubasa though... if they get rid of that I won't be as happy. |
