Closely follows Manga and then ends in a cliffhanger (don't worry, Skull Knight will save him). The plot is AMAZING! The most amazing part about it is that it is very belieavable. Nobody is perfect, nobody is 100% good (exept Rickert), everyone seems very human (it they are human...).

I can't say it's a masterpiece, but it's very enjoyable nevertheless. First ~5-7 episodes don't really pull you in, but as relationships deepen and emotions heat up you will be drawn in. Just be a little patient. And after that it's extremely enjoyable. I'll have to spoil the ending a little though: it's not very well executed ending, but none of the main characters die; so you can relax and simply enjoy it without worrying much. |

From the beginning I disliked the art. But by the end of the first episode this series got a hold on me and I had to watch the next episode. Very exciting and much more than a usual anime about sports or a game. Just make sure that you read a little bit on mahjong rules, that way you will actually somewhat have a clue to what's going on (unlike me when I started watching it). But even without knowing anything about mahjong, it's very enjoyable. |
