crybaby810's Anime

Will not finish Rating
Hikaru no Go (TV) Masterpiece
this was a good anime by death notes animater, and it got me interested in go, however stick to the manga if you want a concise ending, even the special that followed the anime didnt wrap things up....
Koutetsu Sangokushi (TV) Worst ever
unless you like a complete cast of male homosexuals, and i mean there is absolutely no females what-so-ever, then you wont enjoy this. i dont hate homosexual people i just think an entire gay cast is excessive, i wouldnt mind one or two homosexual characters, it would be uncomfortable but not enough to boycott a show, its just who else could apreciate an entire show of male characters some with gay relationships except another homosexual? i mean sure you could watch it but who would apreciate it? not me....
Last Exile (TV) Good
for all of Last Exile's wondrous splendor and somewhat original world (alot of it is just ripped from different time periods, Vanships being a mix between A zeppelin and a car of the time period zeppelins were around) it seems to fall flat because there happens to be no setting, other than large amounts of scenes in the sky, and it wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't block the ground with clouds. from this the colors seem to bleed into black and white, their not dark and dont set a depressing tone, and yet they dont really come off all cutsey, or sureal, just bland. and then again maybe that was intentional what with early 20th century technology, around the time of silent black and white movies, maybe it was supossed to come off black and white, however the characters dont really acumulate much of a backround either, evberything seems to come of bland and mediocre, not to mention a completely anoying navigater named lavi, i dont like her design and i don't like her voice: i dont like her. really it was slightly atractive but never really wowed me or came off amazing. the only thing i was really hooked on was all the scenes of flying vanships and fighting, the story never left me feeling insatiable for more episodes. [on a side note the encyclipedia says somthing a little stupid, its not the 19th century its the early 20th century it kinda resembles. centurys are marked one ahead the actual number, ie early 1900's is early 20th century, it does not resemble the 19th century or 1800's at all, theres no horses, and light bulbes weren't really universally used until near the end of the 19 century, not to mention planes werent around back then, so yeah anime fans stick to anime leave history to the pros]
Mushi-Shi (TV) Good
i couldn't finish this anime because i need plot!!! there is very little in this anime however i do compliment its originality and the animation was phenomenal, also there was, like many other animes, call backs to previous episodes to make the show feel progressive instead of a bunch of random mushi encounters with nothing connecting them. that is an aspect that seperates american animation from japanese animation. i would recomend this to anyone who dosent mind the clear lack of an antagonist, or the fact that Ginko is the only recuring character that directly affects the story. i can see its merits after 5 episodes however i would never personally watch this. i guess its to be decided by the veiwer, also this was an anime that was praised that i looked into, i didnt peronally like it but i dont hate it, where as Escaflowne is an anime i just flat out hate yet others praise it, so if this desription dosent sound as nice as the encyclopedia, you should at leastv note that i dont hold any grudges toward this show and that there are plenty of people that like it.
Noein - to your other self (TV) Good
well i didnt love what i saw but it had enough to keep me interested. i could have fnished it but when you get a good anime you know it and noein was a little lacking for me. it did give some intersting twists to its genre that madeit uniqe, however watching an anime about a single town for 20 somthing episodes is kinda dull, as well as yu being a boring protaganist, he didnt ever taake life by the horns and was boringly reluctant....
