Aeon Flux (live-action movie)
Ah! My Goddess (TV)
Angel Sanctuary (OAV)
Angelic Layer (TV)
(The) Animatrix (OAV)
Appleseed (movie)
Armitage III: Poly-Matrix (movie) Pretty good movie
Armitage: Dual-Matrix (movie) This was pretty good in my opinion, I like this one a little bit more because of the few scenes before the end.
Blood: The Last Vampire (movie) I hated this! I can't even remember why, but I really didn't like it.
Cardcaptor Sakura (TV) Classic, yeah? Very good, much better than I expected it to be when I bought the first 3 vhs tapes once upon a time. Even if it is kiddy at points, I still really liked it.
Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie
Castle in the Sky (movie) Really interesting, better than I was expecting. I couldn't stop saying, "Laputa" afterwords.
Ceres, Celestial Legend (TV)
Chobits (TV) The manga surpasses the anime. This was a little "blah" after reading the manga all the way through
Cowboy Bebop (TV) Didn't meet my expectations. Too much backstory, not a consistent plot until the last few episodes. Disappointing from all the hype that surrounds the series as a whole. When I watched it, I thought, "Okay, stop telling me about the characters--what's the MEAT of the story here? Where are we going with this?"
Digimon Adventure: Born of Koromon (movie)
Escaflowne: The Movie
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (movie) Animation: amazing. I loved this, even if I didn't understand one bit because I've never played the game.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (US CG movie)
Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) Really, really good!
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) One of the first longer series I watched. Doh! This was a great series, kept me laughing and in suspense, couldn't stop watching it.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa Puts a nice endend to the end of the series.
Fushigi Yugi (TV) This was so. good. I was blown away by this series. I loved the opening song and the story kept me enthralled. It only got slow once or twice, for a few minutes in a couple of episodes. Definitely, absolutely recommended.
Ghost in the Shell (movie)
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (movie)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (TV) Really, really good, though extremely confusing. After I watched it, I thought, "Whoa, that was awesome. But wait, what did that mean? And this?" A re-watch is needed, I think, to really get the whole thing understood.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Individual Eleven (OAV)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - The Laughing Man (OAV)
Hellsing (TV)
Leave it to Kero! Theatrical Version (movie)
Love Hina (TV) This series is quite redundant after a while, and I think I had to force myself to go on every so often. But the end was "sweet." (If I remember correctly, haha)
Millennium Actress (movie)
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (movie) Great movie! Surpassed my expectations by a longshot. The name threw me off guard and made me not want to see it, but I'm really glad I did.
Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) A really good series, if you don't mind watching something depressing. The end was absolute confusion, if not the whole series, so plan a re-watch of at least the last 2-3 episodes. (That's my opinion!)
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (movie) A must-see if you were left thinking, "Huh?" at the end of the NGE tv series.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie)
Noir (TV) Took some weird turns and was interesting but it isn't worth a re-watch or 5 gold stars.
Outlaw Star (TV) Had an often seen plot but changed it up, I think. Creative and very good, I think. Kept me laughing and thinking, "I have to watch the next episode! Screw doing other stuff."
Princess Mononoke (movie) Such an amazing movie! Definitely worth a re-watch, rere-watch, so forth, so on. The animation is beautiful.
Read or Die (OAV)
Revolutionary Girl Utena (TV)
Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie
Rurouni Kenshin (TV 1996) Amazing series! Season one, good; season two, amazing; season three, trails off--wouldn't hurt to not watch it if you didn't really want to see it. You really must watch the prequel to this, Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal if you want the full effect of the series played out.
Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal (OAV) This was SO moving! I absolutely loved it. Floored me. A definite must watch if you plan on watching the Rurouni Kenshin tv series. Shouldn't be overlooked!
Sailor Moon (TV) All 200 episodes may get repetitive to some with the "monster a day" theme, but it was really good, I think. Maybe it was because it was my first exposure to the whole anime/manga world, but I would recommend this to anyone (okay, any female) looking for a classic. I'd tell them to get over the monster a day thing and really watch it. (Whatever that means, right?)
Sailor Moon R (TV)
Sailor Moon R: The Movie
Sailor Moon S (TV)
Sailor Moon S: The Movie
Sailor Moon Sailor Stars (TV) This season changed up the characters a bit, which I really liked from the rest of the series. One character seemed more real, not quite so flat. Others grew more, as always, stretched their boundaries, limits. Well worth the other 100 something episodes to get to this season!
Sailor Moon SuperS (TV)
Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie
Shamanic Princess (OAV)
Slayers - The Motion Picture
Tachikomatic Days (OAV)
Tenchi in Tokyo (TV)
Tenchi Muyo! (OAV 1/1992)
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki (OAV 3/2003)
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki (OAV 2/1994)
Tenchi Muyo! The Night Before The Carnival (OAV)
Tenchi the Movie - Tenchi Muyo in Love
Tenchi The Movie 2 - The Daughter of Darkness
Tenchi Universe (TV)
Trigun (TV) I really loved this series, kept me laughing and thinking, "what's next??" The end was a flipflop from the rest of the series, and I think I liked it. Highly recommended!
Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE (TV) Seen the first season. I LOVED seeing classic CLAMP characters cast in a different situation/world. I'm a CLAMP fangirl, somewhat (if only for CCS) and I thought this was really good (what I've seen thus far, anyway).
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (movie)
Vampire Princess Miyu (OAV) Worth a watch, interesting and short!
Vampire Princess Miyu (TV) This was kind of cryptic for my little brain. At some parts I was like, "huh?" and the end was like, "...that's it?!" But uh, it's still interesting. Not really worth 5 gold stars or anything though.
(The) Vision of Escaflowne (TV)
Voices of a Distant Star (OAV) Kinda goofy, but I liked it.
xxxHOLiC (TV)
