This really surprised me by how good it is. Seen the first 12, looking forward to the next set. ---------- 13 - 24 Update: The antagonist to this set of 12 is really cliched and how his evil plans succeed early on really takes me out of the story. To avoid spoilers, I'll just say that the protagonists really should have known better and the writing to get them into the dark situation they "needed" to be in for there to be "drama" was awful. It gets better (the good will I had built from the first 12 episodes is the only reason I didn't drop the show halfway through episode 14), but the set-up for the antagonist to be a "threat" could have been handled in a more believable fashion. I honestly skipped episodes 20 - 24. |
