Aeon Flux (U.S. TV)
Ah My Buddha (TV) Looks like good mindless ecchi fare for workouts/train rides.
Allison & Lillia (TV) This looks to be good. A Miyazaki-esque adventure story with nice art, appealing characters designs and lots of flying.
Aqua Age (TV) Another quiet, sweet girl-growing-up story
Aria - The Natural (TV)
Candy Boy (ONA)
(Le) Chevalier D'Eon (TV) This looks like a really cool story, but it's on the back burner for now.
Chiko, Heiress of the Phantom Thief (TV) Excellent This is a good series, and I'm not just saying that because Aya Hirano is in it. She does a good job, too--there are hints of Haruhi in her voice but it's much more low-key. Because of the voice, it's hard not to see bits of Haruhi's personality in Chiko--the bravery, intelligence and determination, without the brashness and egotism. :)
Cromartie High School (TV) So far it's completely stupid and absolutely hilarious.
Daphne in the Brilliant Blue (TV) Action and fanservice with a good leavening of humor. Looks like the story could develop in some interesting directions.
Destiny of the Shrine Maiden (TV) The first episode didn't grab me, but enough people seem to like it that I may give it another chance.
Ergo Proxy (TV) Dark and dystopian for sure. I like the character designs and animation and it'll be interesting to see where it goes.
Final Approach (TV) A short series of 15-minute episodes. Not the most original premise in the world, but it's done reasonably well so far and the animation is pretty good.
Girl's High (TV) It's all about the panties
Glass Maiden (TV) This is nothing super-special, but has held my interest so far. The animation is well-done and the jazzy soundtrack is quite pleasant.
Haruka Nogizaka's Secret (TV)
Hidamari Sketch × 365 (TV)
Human Crossing (TV) Very realistic, down-to-earth one-episode stories. Quite enjoyable and thought-provoking so far.
ItaKiss (TV) This seems derivative, but the manga it's based on is actually old, so it's not so derivative. :)
Lamune (TV)
Library War (TV) Kind of a weird premise, but looks pretty good. The main character is very spunky and fun.
Looking Up At The Half-Moon (TV)
Macross Frontier (TV) Kick-ass space battles, mechs, stunning animation and music, and the Macross universe. What's not to like? I'm watching the original series at the same time, so I'm starting to get a lot of the references to the old show.
Mushi-Shi (TV) Interesting, quiet, slow-paced
Nodame Cantabile (TV) This looks as if it'll be quite good. Has a Honey&Clover-ish feel (not surprisingly since it's the same studio).
Noein - to your other self (TV) This looks quite good so far. Neat SF/alternate universe premise.
Psychic Squad (TV) I checked this out because Aya Hirano is in it, but it's growing on me. You definitely don't want to take it too seriously...
S.A (TV) This isn't particularly original, but the chemistry between the main characters is very good, and I think it'll be an enjoyable show.
Shion no Oh (TV) Very good This would be even cooler if it were about Go. But that's been done. :) The setting and atmosphere are familiar if you've seen Hikaru no Go, but it's a very different type of story. Looks good so far.
Sola (TV) This looks interesting. Not quite sure what the story's going to be, but the animation and the acting are pretty good so far.
(The) Story of Saiunkoku (TV) Excellent This looks to be really really good--I love the characters and the plot has more twists than a strand of DNA. Pity Geneon went out of business and the rest of the series probably won't be released in the US.
(The) Telepathy Girl Ran (TV) Nice art, good voice actors, interesting premise, BAD writing. Worth watching so far just for the seiyuu.
To Love-Ru (TV) Looks like a cross between Girls Bravo and Urusei Yatsura. Remains to be seen whether it'll go anywhere original. The male lead isn't too annoying and the fanservice isn't bad.
Toka Gettan: The Moonlight Lady Returns (TV) Well animated, very confusing plot until you realize the gimmick. Probably will finish at some point.
