Accel World (TV) Very good Finished in 3 days (11/16/12 - 11/18/12). After watching the first few episodes, I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish this. Haruyuki really drove me nuts throughout this series. It always seemed like he was crying every other episode or so, and feeling sorry for himself. He seemed like a real baby, and that was a real turn-off to see the main character acting like this. It was difficult for me to really root for him as a result. Thankfully, whenever he did hit rock bottom, he'd eventually manage to get his act together, well, good enough that he was able to display real courage and guts during pivotal moments. I was really surprised with Chiyuri's plan there near the end of the series, I thought she would side with Nomi there in the end, and I admit that I got fooled, at least until I saw Nomi's wings disappear, then I started to think that Chi-chan must have done something else, but I couldn't figure out what. I was pretty happy with the way the series ended with all 3 - Chi-chan, Taku and Haru reconciling, and even Kuroyukihime and Sky Raker coming back together. I hope this series gets at least another season, hopefully more, so long as the series doesn't start to drag itself. There's still plenty of things unresolved. I had read in some people's comments on Hulu that they finished only up to the end of the 4th light novel, and there's at least 12. There also a special OVA episode 25 (that I have not watched) that's currently being sold with the Japan PS3 and PSP video games.
Amagi Brilliant Park (TV) Decent Finished eps 1-12 in 2 days from 6/2/15 to 6/3/15. An ok series overall. The main male character Kanie was an ok lead for me, but I didn't like how narcistic he can be sometimes. I did like Sento and Latifah, though. Honestly, I'm not sure who I ship with Kanie, both Sento and Latifah seem like nice choices, but perhaps Latifah? This is one I'd like to play a Visual Novel just to see both routes. The drama throughout the series was ok for the most part, nothing that really had me super engrossed. The ending was pretty good, though, as it was a very happy ending and I do have to admit, that I did tear up (I think) a little when Latifah and Kanie were alone and they embraced just before it became August 1st, the time when Latifah was supposed to lose her memory again. Didn't really like the fan servicey ED song. In terms of entertainment so far, I think I would give this a 6.25. Note: Still need to watch ep 13.
Another (TV) Very good Still need to see Episode 0.
Appleseed XIII (TV) Watched 1st eo on 1/10/15. Doesn't appeal to me too much.
Arakawa Under the Bridge (TV) Decent Watched the 1st 2 eps on 4/9/13. Wow... what a strange show... the absurdity level, for me, is just off the charts that I can't take this show seriously. From the chief guy in the Kappa suit (who denies he's a human), the guy with a yellow star mask, the 2 children with metal head gear/masks, the big man dressed as a nun and acting like a priest (ugh, that was too much for me), to the main female protagonist thinking she's a Venusian (person from Venus)! Also, the main male character, Kou-san, was someone whom I couldn't really relate to, with his whole attitude of never receiving favors from people so that u never owe them. It was a big turn-off for me, as I really couldn't place myself in his shoes at all, which is something that I like to do in shows that have a main male protagonist, especially in romantic comedies/dramas. Also, & unfortunately, like most parody/romantic comedy shows, I don't really find them funny, and this was no different. I think some others may find this hysterical which is prolly why it got pretty decent ratings, but for me, 2 eps with all the problems that I have with this show, is enough for me to look for another series.
Aria the Scarlet Ammo (TV) Still need to see (special) episode 13: The Butei Come and Train at a Hot Spring - located on BR/DVD release.
Bleach (TV) Watched up to ep 3 on 9/29/14. Not too bad. The battle scenes were alright so far. Storyline seems pretty straightforward, and it seems like the story is just being set up, introducing the characters and setting up Ichigo as a soul reaper, and having Rukia explain things such as the 2 different spirits, good ones and evil ones (also called Hollows). People have said from the video comments on CR that it gets pretty epic later on, but I think I'll stop here since the series is just too long (366 eps w/movies).
Blue Seed (TV)
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (TV)
Boys Be... (TV)
Bunny Drop (TV) Excellent Finished in 5 days from 5/7/15 to 5/11/15. Beautiful series. It's just so simple, nothing complex at all with the storyline. It really is a feel good series if I've ever seen one, kinda like Chihayafuru. There are some scenes, too, that made me tear up, but mostly because Rin is just so innocent that it hurts sometimes the things she says, that it really tugs at my heart. Both main characters, Daikichi and Rin are both quite likeable, as well as the other semi-main characters Nitani Yukari and Nitani Kouki. It would be nice if Daikichi and Yukari could have gone out, but alas, I guess it wasn't meant to be. In terms of entertainment, I think I would give this a 8.75.
Can Can Bunny Extra (OAV)
Cardcaptor Sakura (TV)
Chōyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi (TV) Decent Watched the 1st 3 episodes on 11/8/13. I gotta say I was kinda hyped to watch this, but then the 1st ep happened! LOL. It was pretty awesome for the sole reason that it tells the story of the love poem behind the Chihaya karuta card (from Chihayafuru). That in it of itself was worth watching the 1st 14minutes of it! I gotta say, though, there's a lot of romance here with some crazy comedy bits mixed in, too. That 2nd ep with that Tsundere Emperor (Sadaakira) was kinda nuts. I can't believe how cruel he was to Yasuko who was so kind and didn't deserve the kind of treatment she was given from him. But I have to say that she was an awesome and great wife!!! How beyond blessed Sadaakira was to have such loving and loyal wife. If I had a wife, I could only hope she would be as loving and loyal as her. ^.^ Episode 3 was awkward since Yoshiko kept calling Munesada oniisan (I don't think they're blood-related but just grew up together) when she loves him romantically. I definitely was not a fan of that ending since Yoshiko just couldn't give up her dream of being someone important, like a palace servant escorting people around the palace, etc., for the one she loves. Anyway, that ending did it, coupled with the fact that I really don't want to see anymore episodes filled with romance like in the 1st ep. But I think this show would definitely be enjoyed by those that are into mature romantic love.
D.Gray-man (TV) Good
Destiny of the Shrine Maiden (TV)
Digimon Frontier (TV)
Dragon Ball GT (TV) Good ANN server lost my data for this, so re-writing what I remember from 2-3 weeks ago. Watched up to ep 8 from maybe 2/2/15 to 2/3/15? Anything that has Goku in it, I know I'll at least decently like since I really his character and personality. Pan and Trunks are also pretty likeable characters for me as well. The drama is alright so far; it's hard to feel really like the group is ever in dire trouble, though, when I know how powerful the 3 main characters are. Although, I am kinda curious to see how strong Goku still is, considering that he's in the body of a child now, and seems to have lost at least one of his techniques (of teleportation). In terms of entertainment, I think I would have to give this a 6.25.
Dragon Ball Z (TV) Very good
Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn (movie 12) Good Watched some of it on 2/21/15. It's DBZ, so yeah, a lot of fighting action! Pretty standard stuff, and nothing really out of the ordinary to me, but freeza made his return, only to get beaten in like 1 hit from Gohan!
Dragon Warrior (TV)
ef: a tale of melodies (TV)
Excel Saga (TV)
Fairy Tail (TV) Excellent
Fairy Tail (TV 2/2014) Excellent Notes are for 1st 2 seasons: Ep 166 - That was epic-like how Natsu burst into Sabretooth's place and challenged their boss, and wanted him to quit if he lost a fight against him. At the end, too, where Erza challeges all 100 monsters; epic beyond words!!! Ep 167 - Erza going against the 100 monsters was the most epic thing I've seen a while! Not since SAO since I got that epicly awesome feeling. Ep 189 - Pretty epic, emotional way to end the Grand Magic Games, with Erza unlocking her 2nd Origin and bringing out her Nakagami armor, and Sting surrendering when up against all 5 Fairy Tail members. Ep 198 - Beautiful ending with the future Lucy being re-united with her Fairy Tail group, as their future was restored to a bright one. Good/teary-eyed stuff. Ep 200 - Beautiful sad/teary ep with Ultear becoming an elderly lady with not much time left, and leaving a beautiful letter to her companions/friends Jellal and Meredy. At the end of the ep, too, with Gray seeing Ultear and realizing that he was saved by her, just like her mother saved him. In terms of entertainment, I think I would have to give this a 9.
Fushigi Yugi (TV)
Futakoi Alternative (TV)
Galaxy Angel (TV)
Gilgamesh (TV)
Gintama (TV) Decent Watched the first 11 eps on 12/10/12. I had heard so much about this show, in particular how comical it is. But to me, I really didn't find the show to be that funny. There were a few "lol" moments, but nowhere near as much as I had heard from other people. The storyline for every episode didn't seem to really have any type of progressing plot, but I'm sure it does if I was to continue watching. However, because of how unrealistic all the characters are in the show (and overly eccentric), I just can't seem to take this show very serious even during the times when it tries to be serious. And that to me, is a huge turn-off and I already know it's a waste of time for me to continue watching this, unless someone can convince me otherwise.
Green Green Character DVD (OAV)
Growlanser IV (OAV)
Gurren Lagann (TV) Watched the 1st 2 eps on 11/8/13. Ep 1 - Decent ep; decent action; not really liking the character designs of main characters; Not too thrilled about the ecchi scenes with Yoko and at least 1 crude remark about her breasts from Kamina; 3* ep; Ep 2 - Profanity used: *ss; Bouncy Yoko breasts; lotta action, but was pretty bored throughout it all; Music appears to be so-so; 3* ep; Again, don't really like the character designs and the overall silliness of the show prevents me from getting into the drama ~ gonna have to drop this as a result.
Heaven's Lost Property (TV) Decent Watched 4 eps from 5/5/13 to 5/8/13. Yikes, yet another really ecchi series! I do gotta admit though, some of the antics, especially the "flying panties" in ep 2 and in some other eps, were kinda funny only because of how unbelievably ridiculous it was to see in action! The main male protagonist Tomoki is a super ecchi character that it's almost unbelievable. I decided to stop watching this show though, after in ep 4, there was a scene where Tomoki's face fell right on top of Sohora's... um... private area... To be honest, I think that was a wise choice to quit this series here considering that, at this point, there didn't seem to be a whole lot of plot and drama, which to me, are very important. The ecchi comedy I really could've gone without and would've loved if this series could've been more serious, or at least, more plot-driven, and less focused on being ecchi. I did watch the end parts of the last ep (12) of season 2, and it seems like it was another harem-ending which is not cool. There seems to have been a sequel movie to this season (2), but something tells me that there still is no clear choice as to whom Tomoki chooses to be his wife. I guess I can't really recommend this to anyone... just too much ecchiness and not enough drama and plot.
Hellsing Ultimate (OAV)
Hunter × Hunter (TV 2011) So-so Started watching on 4/25/15. Watched up to ep 5, but will probably stop here as it's too long of a series and I'm not really into the main characters at all, which is a very bad thing. In terms of entertainment so far, I think I would give it a 5.25.
Inu X Boku Secret Service (TV)
Inuyasha (TV)
Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens (TV)
Kimikiss pure rouge (TV)
Kurokami The Animation (TV) Still need to watch (special) episode 24: Side Chapter 「Tiger and Wings」 - on the final BD/DVD volume. Wasn't too happy with the ending. Really, really, really wished Kuro and Keita could've ended up together somehow...
(The) Legend of the Legendary Heroes (TV) Watched up to ep 4 on 8/1/14 (no more free eps available). A little on the bloody side with some explicit decapitations of heads and bodies, so definitely not for children. Some pentagon-like symbols used with main character's eyes that may worry others due to some people associating it with Satanic symbols, etc.. Music was ok, drama was pretty good, was happy to see Keifer let Ryner know how she feels about him, but don't like Ryner's character too much, as he seems to exhibit a no-care lazy attitude a lot. Actions scenes were decent, but too much blood at times, and bloody decapitations of limbs. Some profanity, I think, at least in the dubbed. As for ecchi scenes, nothing too outrageous but Keifer does kinda get her shirt ripped, I think, in ep 2 or 3 by one of the bad guys, but nothing is really seen. In terms of entertainment, I think I would have to give it a 7.
Love, Election and Chocolate (TV) Good Finished in 3 days on 7/18/13. Pretty decent anime. The main characters are alright. I thought Ojima, the main male protagonist, was a pretty good character. I also really liked Satsuki-san. If I ever played the visual novel for this, I would probably go for her route. In fact, I was almost hoping that she and Ojima would end up together, but I am glad, nevertheless, that it didn't turn out that way (as they went with the child-hood friend route) and I was satisfied with how everything ended. That Yume guy, though, it almost seemed like everytime he talked or did anything, it was obviously a gay remark/action towards Ojima. It was kept light, though. As for the music, the OP song is actually pretty good, and the ED is really quite the beautiful song. The choice of background musics, too, during the scenes seemed appropriate. For the first few episodes, this show was pretty bland for me, but started to get a bit better at the end of ep 4 with Aomi-san being bullied and havin her panty being thrown in the garbage! Ep 5, which dealt with the primary election for the next president of the student council, I thought was a bit of a questionable one. There was quite a bit of Yaoi comedy tidbits, many of which were of poor taste, imo. This ep was also when Mifuyu gave Ojima a fictional love story she wrote of Ojima and herself, instead of Ojimas speech script. It seemed from that particular point on, the series got a bit better and interesting. The last 3 or 4 eps though, is where this series really was at its best and was at its peak of interest for me. The ending, I must say, was really sweet, and I don't know if I've ever seen such a beautiful end kiss before (with Chisato and Ojima) in an anime! Wow, is all I can say to that! One of the best, ever! I ended up watching that scene a few to several times! Overall, this series had some nice moments to it and a pretty bland to decent plot which actually did get quite a bit more interesting closer to the end of the series. Honestly, though, I don't think I'd recommend this show to anyone (especially those that dislike Yaoi undertones - even if it is kept kinda light), except those that are really into romantic comedies and have already seen all the popular ones already. Note: Still need to see special episode 13.

My Bride is a Mermaid (TV) Decent Finished in 1 day on 5/27/15. This series is so over-the-top that it was very difficult to really get engrossed into the plot. I will admit, though, there were some scenes that I did find kind of amusing and did chuckle a little at, especially the scene in one of the early episodes where Nagasumi and Sun are at a festival, and they are trying to catch fish in tank, and when it gets to Nagasumi's turn, he's told that the fish he has to catch is someplace else, and ends up being a shark!!! LOL. Another really funny part, is when Nagasumi opens up his bag to get something, (I forgot what), and much to his surprise and horror, he sees Maki, the assassin in his bag with, I think, a crazed look on her face. LOL. Pretty much all the characters are just crazy and/or hyper. It reminded me a bit of FLCL. Even times when things would seemingly get serious, it would almost always get interrupted by something insane and over-the-top happening. From a personality standpoint, I did kind of like the 2 main characters, though, Nagasumi and Sun. They are a cute couple, and I did kinda like Lunar, too, at least when she was being nice, but when she was treating Nagasumi like a "Man servant", and being cruel to him, not so much. Because of all the hyper-activity, I couldn't stand to actually watch the whole series. I literally looked at the synopsis of each episode through Wiki, and any that looked kinda interesting, I went ahead and watched it, but even then, I fast forwarded through many parts. I probably only watched/browsed through 6-9 episodes total. And of course, I did watch the last 2 episodes so I could see how it all ended, and I have to say, it felt kind of abrupt, and I didn't really like how Nagatsumi became like a Super Saiyan or something to beat up the bad guy at the end, I just couldn't take it very seriously. At the very least, though, I'm glad it was a happy ending at the end and kind of heartwarming, especially when Nagasumi and Sun embrace each other at the end. I kind of wish they could've lasted that scene longer, and even added a gentle kiss, too, as it would've made the scene even more heartwarming, especially since it would have been their first together (I think). In terms of entertainment, I think I would give this a 5.5.
My Love Story!! (TV) Very good Watched 1st ep on 4/15/15, and watched every now and then up to 13. Pretty good 1st ep. All 3 main characters seem pretty likeable so far. Interesting premise. At times, it does seem a bit too love-dovey for me. In terms of entertainment, I think I'd give this an 7.5.
NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them! (TV) Very good Finished in 1 day (12/31/12). Wow, this was a lot better than I expected. There was a lot of twists and turns within the story, and I just didn't know what to believe at times. It was extremely well written to say the least! The characters, while extremely likeable, flirted a bit too much though and showed way more skin than I had wanted to see. I had to look away for a bit at times as I felt quite uneasy during scenes in which one or more of the girls (in my opinion) were going too far and being way too aggressive... The music too was well done and matched the scenes appropriately. It's too bad that Shougo didn't quite make a choice as to whom he wanted to be his lover. I am glad that Miyabi turned out to be his little sister, and not his lover. To me, she actually looks like an imouto out of all the girls. Konoe, in my opinion, would make the best choice as his lover and perhaps he's inclined to choosing her as he nearly kissed her in one of the last episodes. I was really rooting for Konoe since the beginning! She seems like she would be a wonderful wife to have. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone that's into romantic dramas, but would warn against all the fanservice and sometimes overly aggressive actions from the girls. Lastly, I still need to watch OVA Ep 13 which is supposed to be released in Japan on March 27, 2013 on a Blu-ray DVD. I hope in this special ep Shougo makes a clear-cut choice with Konoe. ^_^
Noein - to your other self (TV) Decent Watched the 1st four eps on 7/15/14. The first 4 eps weren't bad. They actually were kinda interesting. Of course, anything that deals with time travel I feel I'll be interested in. However, the main male character, Yuu, I didn't really like. His personality was just a great turn-off for me. He just seemed so angry and kinda mean. His pretty boy looks, too, I wasn't a fan of. I did like the main female protagonist, Haruka, though, she seemed like a nice and likeable person and her character design was good. As for the music, it seemed decent, nothing really stood out to me, though. As for ecchi scenes, nothing really. I think there was at least one scene in the 1st four eps, though, where a profanity word was used, I think it was the word b*tch. The drama was pretty good, as it seemed to have characters from the future frequently interacting with characters from the present world. Those were the best parts to me since there were some nice action scenes whenever that happened. Having said all this, I'm dropping this series because of 2 things. First off, when I watched the preview for ep 5, it appeared that they had someone or some people using a Ouija board, and second, I'm just not a fan of the main male protagonist. He's really just too much of a turn-off for me. In terms of entertainment, I think I would have to give it a 6.25.
Noir (TV)
One Piece (TV 1999) Excellent Excellent series, overall. Luffy is one of the most epic characters I've come across. Great battle scenes and a number of tear-filled eps and scenes, especially when Luffy fights for his nakama. The latter part of the series are a bit ecchi, though, which I'm quite disappointed in. In terms of entertainment, I think I'd give it a 9 (mostly because of the 1st 200-300 eps).
Oreimo (TV) Good Still need to see the 4 "True" ending episodes.
Pani Poni Dash! (TV) Good Only watched 1st 7 dubbed eps around 4/2013. Although I had seen some odd # of eps before then several years back. The show was actually pretty amusing. It got a few laughs out of me, so I'd imagine it's prolly pretty hilarious to another person. From what I could tell from the 1st 7 eps, there's no real linear storyline to this series. All we know is that Rebecca has replaced a teacher that left, and that there are aliens in outer space that are observing Becky for some odd reason. Every episode actually seemed to be its own adventure, while sometimes introducing more characters to the show, especially from other classes. I will admit that I found the "I'm your teacher!" remark that Becky always uses in retaliation to things, rather amusing and sometimes cute. The music was decent; nothing really stood out to me, although the opening theme sounded a little like the Teen Titans opening theme! As for the characters, they were all diverse and had their own personality to them. One of my favorite characters in the show is that weird cat like creature who keeps hiding in vending machines and offering sodas that were warmed by its body heat! "They're warm by my body heat!!!" I will admit I chuckled at that a lot! Overall, a pretty amusing show for a comedy, and I would highly recommend to those that are into comedies that lack a main plot-line (at least, this one seemed to lack one based on the 1st 7 eps).
Peacemaker (TV)
Persona 4: The Animation (TV) Very good Finished in 3 days (1/23/13 to 1/25/13). Pretty good series with some not too shabby fight scenes. The characters are diverse and likeable for the most part. I really liked the main character Yu because of his intelligence, calm demeanor and leadership skills. However, later in the series (ep 15,19,20), he starts to get on my nerves a little bit because he starts to get a little ecchi towards the female protagonists. What a disappointment! I found Kuma also a bit annoying and ecchi. His voice at first I wasn't bothered with, but once he took the form of a human while still sounding the same, and acting the way he was, it made me kinda wish he would stop showing up in episodes. The plot itself was pretty engrossing and I really enjoyed 2 of the main messages of the show: the power of the personas increases as the main characters' bonds with each other grow, and the accepting of your whole self, especially all the bad qualities of ourselves that we'd rather forget or pretend they don't exist. There were a few episodes (ep10,15,19,20) that bothered me a bit: Ep 10 where there was 1 lewd scene with shadow Risa at a bar dancing on a pole - that one was tough to watch (definitely a scene kid's should not watch)...; Ep 15 where the characters go to a love hotel! Of all places, it really wasn’t necessary for them to go there. Later, they go to a club and some of the characters get drunk - there ends up being a bit of a pervy scene there since Yu is so drunk and acts like a pervy dummy - ugh! That made me so sick and disgusted!; Ep 19 where they had a festival where the males cross-dressed and females had a beauty pageant…; Ep 20 with the bath scenes - and Yu of all people acting like an ecchi dummy again! The music for the show was quite good and there were a couple of really good musical tracks, in particular during some of the fight scenes. The ending was ok - a little touching even, but I was still quite disappointed. I was hoping at least maybe Risa and Yu could share an intimate hug or kiss or something that would indicate them pursuing a loving relationship in the future. But nothing... Overall, I still highly enjoyed the series, despite some lewd/ecchi scenes that turned me off a great deal. I would only recommend this show to adults (since there are lewd/ecchi scenes) that don't mind a bit of a dark, yet engrossing & mystery-filled storyline with some pretty good action scenes mixed in. Still Need to watch Ep 26 which is the TRUE END - available now on DVD Collection 2.

Sankarea: Undying Love (TV) Good Finished in 2 days (1/20/13 to 1/21/13). I have mixed feelings about this one. The main male protagonist, Chihiro, has such a disturbing & disordered love for... zombies. He seems to not be interested in human females, but instead with female zombies *shiver*... Yuck. The guy is obviously messed up... despite that though, at least he tries to do his best for Rea when he told her that "he'd take responsibility for her." Rea's father is also so messed up... what kind of father takes nude pics of their daughter on their birthday? He was so controlling and overly-affectionate towards her (since he saw his first wife in her) it gave me such a disgusted feeling! I couldn't help but feel bad for Rea as her freedom was totally restricted. She seems like a really nice and caring person too. Just a shame. As for Aria (Rea's step-mother), I felt kind of bad for her as well as she obviously wasn't really loved by her husband Dan'ichirō. He simply ignored her and it seems he only wanted her as a wife so that Rea could have a mother. How twisted is that? The music for the series was well done and fit the atmosphere of each of the scenes. Each episode was pretty interesting, but nothing too extraordinary - I was never really on the edge of my seat. The fanservice level wasn't too bad, but there was one, maybe 2 ecchi scenes that shocked me and had me look away from the computer screen. As a result, I will probably never recommend this to anyone desiring a "clean" series. I was really shocked though with how it ended - with Rea's father leaving somewhere to look for a cure for Rea and leaving Rea in Chihiro's care. The last scene too was a shocker with Rea getting into a zombie-like trance and biting Chihiro's lip! I have no idea what that did to Chihiro, but I'm certainly curious to know! Overall, this series is alright and I think anyone that's into romance and a dark story will find themselves interested and intrigued by this one - it's different that's for sure. Lastly, it seems there's 3 OVAs (Ep 0, 13 & 14) - perhaps 1 of them can further elaborate the effects of the bite. Also, I'm curious to see if Chihiro will start any kind of romantic relationship with Rea... or his childhood friend Ranko Saōji (who obviously loves him).
School Rumble (TV)
Sekirei (TV) Decent Watched 2 eps on 5/4/13. Wow, straight from ep 1, outright nudity and super pervy situations! Had to drop this one after ep 2 as a result. The battles looked like they could have been promising though, but I guess I'll never really know. I did skip all the way to the last ep of season 2, and unless I misunderstood, it seemed kinda like a harem-type ending. Plus, it seems like it ended with a "To be Continued," and there currently doesn't seem to be any additional season at the moment (perhaps it wasn't popular enough to warrant another?).

Teekyū (TV) Weak Watched the 1st 3 eps on 3/9/13. My first short (2 min) anime series... As I had suspected, I couldn't really get into it at all... I have no idea as to the names of the characters and I just didn't find the show very funny - I felt the characters were trying too hard to be funny which just doesn't work for me (like Gintama). I could only muster watching 3 eps before I quit after the 3rd ep because of the perversity which I found to be a big turn-off. Not a very good 1st impression of a short anime series...
Those Who Hunt Elves (TV)
Valkyria Chronicles (TV) Very good Finished in 3 days (12/12/12 to 12/14/12). This is a really good anime that centers around a war. One really gets to see the ugliness of war as good and bad guys (including main side characters) will lose their life in this one. It can get quite emotional as a result. The series does a good job of introducing many characters into the story and building at least some character development, although I think they could have done a little bit better, had they made the series a little bit longer. Despite that, each episode I thought was compelling enough that when one ended, I wanted to see the next one right away. Welkin isn't too bad of a main male character; intelligent, confident, vibrant and an all-around good guy, though I do wish he could've been honest about his feelings for Alicia sooner, especially when Faldio was grilling him about how he felt about him going after Alicia as a love interest. Overall, I think this is great anime with a touching and beautiful ending that is worth one's time if they are even slightly into the "war" genre. Note: There is an episode 27 and 28 on some kind of DVD-release (probably J-Anime DVD release) - though I think it has nothing to add to the main plot.

World Trigger (TV) Excellent (Started on 5/26/15 and finished on 7/29/15). - Finished all the way to the latest simul ep 39. Wow, I have to say this was way better than my initial thoughts, and it seemed like the plot and drama just keeps getting better and better (like Reborn)! The main characters, and many of the minor characters are, for the most part, pretty likeable. I actually do really like Osamu, Yuuma and Chika. I'm already shipping Osamu and Chika or Osamu and Kitora, or Yuuma and Konami, although I just don't see the latter happening. Also, and I find this surprising, but most of the battles seem very well done and I like how they can make many of the characters seem pretty powerful, and not exactly pushovers. I was reminded of Log Horizon, too, what with all the explanations of all their attacks and whatnot, and almost always listing the classes of each person when they are introduced. Really looking forwarded to finishing this series, but I hear it goes up to ep 50, and I'm not sure I'll still be around to see it end. In terms of entertainment so far, I think I would give this an 8.75.
