| Battle Vixens (manga) | Weak | A pretty cliché manga that is rife with excessive partial nudity that serves absolutely no purpose, exploding girls' shirts and over-the-top violence. The story is confusing and poorly told, I felt like I was just being rushed through the whole thing and understanding very little. There are far too many similar characters, which by the end become extremely difficult to tell apart. The manga was very well drawn, and at times quite funny, but is essentially an action b-movie mixed with softcore porn. I can't help but imagine that this actually would be half-porn if it wasn't for censorship laws, there is frequently art that is just saved from being pornographic by well-placed feet or speech bubbles. |
| Cowboy Bebop (manga) | Excellent | Fantastic, short manga that is every bit as classy and wonderful as the anime. |
| Love Hina (manga) | Very good | Very cute manga, with perhaps a little too much fan-service to be taken too seriously. However, it is one of the best romance stories I have read, so if you're into that then go ahead and read it. |
