This is a list of series where I watched a few episodes or read a few chapters, but it wasn't good or interesting enough to continue reading/watching.

Sampled and will not continue
Animal Land (manga)
It was so weird that I didn't enjoy it. The darker elements don't blend well with the more comedic art style or characters.
Are You Alice? (manga)
1 volume; It's confusingly chaotic, the art is generically pretty, and there are logical holes. It took everything I don't like about the original Alice in Wonderland and combined it with generic manga tropes.
(The) Betrayal Knows My Name (manga)
1 volume/Half an omnibus. Ugly art, dull and cliche plot, doormat main character. My dry eyes literally made it painful to read. I couldn't even finish the entire omnibus.
Bizenghast (U.S. manga)
Ugly and stiff art (except for chapter covers), boring, episodic, and unoriginal story, flat and uninteresting characters.
Black Bird (manga)
It's almost like the main character has some version of Stockholm Syndrome. The main love interest is an abusive, pushy ass who keeps sexually assaulting her. Even worse, it's shown in a positive light. Ugh, it's disgusting. The main character herself is spineless and doesn't do anything. The frequency of the licking scenes (one every chapter) makes it feel like soft porn or something.
(The) Earl & the Fairy (manga)
Nothing special or compelling me to read more.
Godchild (manga)
Unappealing art, historical inaccuracies (Count Cain, really? -_-), and cliche Victorian plot and characters (why are all historical noblemen main characters an earl/count? Why are they never a viscount or marquise?).
Jing: King of Bandits (manga 1995-98)
Interesting premise, but boringly executed.
Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You (manga)
It's not bad, it's just not my type of manga. I don't usually enjoy pure romance (not for lack of trying), and this doesn't really have any other draw besides the romance. The dog is adorable though.
Library Wars: Love & War (manga)
Bland lead and characters I don't care about.
Nabari No Ou (manga)
(The) Prince of Tennis (manga)
The character don't stand out (except for when they're annoying), the art and constant focus on class hierarchy irk me.
Read or Die (manga)
Interesting powers, but not enjoyable
Spice & Wolf (manga)
Boring economics is boring. Vaguely interesting characters and a plot I don't care about. May consider giving it another shot in the future.
Ultimo (manga)
Cliche and predictable good vs evil.
Wandering Son (manga)
Not bad, but awkward and un-enjoyable. May read more if I'm board and at the library.
Yotsuba&! (manga)
A few cute moments, but mainly boring.
Young Miss Holmes (manga)
Doesn't really stand out from the mass of other Sherlock Holmes media. The art is okay, and the cases are kinda interesting. The characters are too perfect and not particularly interesting or likable (except maybe Nora).
Yozakura Quartet (manga)
1 volume. Nothing about it really stands out except its connection to Durarara. It's also unfinished in English, so I won't be able to finish it anyway.
Yu-Gi-Oh! (manga)
