7 Jikan-me Rhapsody (manga) Excellent I loved this. So adorable and heart warming. Was on the verge of tears at one point. I have a thing for teacher x student mangas, just the idea of a mature guy is really appealing (even though this teacher isn't exactly mature at times :P). But yes, excellent work by Tanaca Meca.
Dengeki Daisy (manga) Masterpiece Thought nothing would surpass Ouran Host Club as my favourite manga, but how wrong I was. Dengeki Daisy is the perfect mixture of well-executed drama, comedy and romance. I cried while reading the first chapter, and manga doesn't usually make me cry! Such beautiful art as well. And the characters are fantastic; a strong female heroine who even has the capacity to be slightly ditzy, but not annoyingly so (Teru) and an awesome and ridiculously good looking hero (Kurosaki). The story is unique and has a lot of depth, unlike a lot of typical cliched shoujo manga. Wish it was updated more often. Motomi Kyousuke, you are a genius.
Faster than a Kiss (manga) Decent Cute, but the relationship development is very slow. I feel like this is going around in circles a bit, which is quite annoying at times (especially how Fumino is still frightened of any sort of intimacy with Sensei, it's like build a bridge and get over it, you've been married a year! -__-) But anyway, still worth continuing.
Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You (manga) Weak Even slower relationship development. Sawako is a very annoying character, it's like she has no concept of social interaction whatsoever, even though it's supposedly improving. Surely she couldn't have been that deprived. I like Kazehaya's character, but the airheadedness of Sawako ruins it for me. Overall, the manga is kinda boring, but I'm persisting with it.
Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu (manga) Awful Don't even get me started. A friend recommended this manga to me, saying it was "really cute", so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm sorry, cute? Far from it. Hibino's constantly at the ultimate end of the stupidity scale for letting Kyouta stick his tongue down her throat whenever he pleases. It also didn't take her a while to change her mind about remaining a virgin until marriage, but then she was too chicken to have sex with Kyouta. MAKE UP YOUR FREAKING MIND AND STOP BEING SUCH A PUSSY (ironic word choice, I know). Just an overall unbelievably stupid manga. I'd drop it but I have a thing where I have to finish things that I started. Terrible. Just terrible.
Maid-sama! (manga) Very good Highly enjoyable manga. Very humorous. I disliked Misaki's "I hate boys" attitude at the beginning though, it was a bit too feminist for me. But I like how she changed, and that Usui assisted in that. I also love the way that Usui is drawn :3
Oresama Teacher (manga) Good Very funny manga. Sometimes the humour can be a bit OTT and really random but personally I enjoy it. I'd like to see a bit more romantic development though, there seems to be barely any so far (especially between Takaomi and Mafuyu). Though I do sense a bit of a love rectangle coming on..
Ouran High School Host Club (manga) Excellent A superb manga with a superb ending. Couldn't have asked for anything else to be put into the final chapter. Highly recommended. The anime is also brilliant, slightly different but still doesn't disappoint.
Papillon - Hana to Chō (manga by Miwa Ueda) Not really good I found this alright, but then it started to get really annoying. Like how Hana kept interfering with Ageha and ruining everything for her. And then Ageha became more girly and attractive and she got her counsellor boyfriend etc, and her character became really annoying, just like Hana. Just an overall annoying manga, but it's strangely addicting. Lots of bitch fights, so if you're into that, go for it.
S.A (manga) Very good A really good manga overall, with strong characters and interesting relationship developments. Humorous, dramatic and romantic. The art is a bit disappointing at first, but it progressively gets better (or maybe you just get used to it? Haha.) Favourite pairing is Yahiro and Megumi, incredible adorable. The anime is quite good as well.
Shinobi Life (manga) So-so Had high expectations for this, I really like romance mangas which have a lot of action in them. The first two chapters were pretty good, but then it slowly went downhill after that. The couple got together far too early (like chapter 3 or something), it could have been stretched out a lot more. Now it's just mediocre, nothing special about it.
Vampire Knight (manga) Bad Oh wow, where do I start? So I was kinda enjoying this until Yuuki turned into a vampire and we find out that Kaname is her brother but also her lover. INCEST ALERT. Not a fan. It was amazing how quickly I was disconnected from the whole thing after that part. Then the story started to become far too complicated and I still can't make sense of it. Even though you find out later that Kaname actually isn't her brother, I am still put off. Then in the latest chapters Kaname kills Aidou's father and is now on the run. Like where did that even come from? Though I'm kinda glad that he's depicted to be some sort of villain now. The only reason I'm persisting with this manga is in the hope that Yuuki comes to her senses and gets with Zero. But anyway, don't read this manga. Learn from my mistakes. END RANT.
(The) Wallflower (manga) Not really good I like the idea of this manga, it's quite comedic. But it didn't live up to its expectations sadly. It's very long-winded, already over 100 chapters long and it's going around in circles, barely any change at all. Face it: Sunako will always be a freak and Kyohei will always be...Kyohei. Also the art is a bit weird. Sunako and Kyohei better get together soon, or I will be very angry and I will drop this manga.
