Every now and then it's time to reach back into the past, dust off an old classic and give it another spin - this week we're exhuming the resting soul of Haruhi Suzumiya, the world's biggest hit in 2006 and for not long after that. Joining us is Sara Pocock, animator at Cartoon Network with a portfolio longer than one of Itsuki's interminable exposition dumps; together we discuss the entire Haruhi Suzumiya franchise, including the film, and determine if it's still worth all that hype and choreographed dancing.

PLUS: up front we have a new schedule for ANNCast! Here's a spoiler: we're moving to 3 episodes a month, Fridays at 9am PST. We'll have one interview show, one Twitter question/live chat show, and one episode like this where we rewatch an old hit or watch something we've always meant to (our next episode in this series will be about Clannad, for example!). Also: send us feedback! We want to hear from you! Please email comments, questions and suggestions for single-show episodes to [email protected]
