Well I would have much preferred that the final City Hunter special-Death of Evil Saeba Ryo, and Angel Heart get a us release instead.

Well I can see this release as a good potential for:

1) Getting any of the US anime companies to license the mentioned two above. And also a re-release for city hunter based on the R2 remasters.

2) City Hunter/Angel Heart getting more anime adaptions in Japan.

"Lee plays a former CIA operative who now works as a gun-for-hire. Park Min Young plays Ryo's love interest."

....Okay, here's a slight spoiler for people. I've watched the entire Korean drama, and he doesn't play the role mentioned. spoiler[Lee Minho plays the son of a former bodyguard of the South Korean President, who was killed on a top secret mission along with 19 other soldiers by their own country. Minho is raised to get revenge against the people who formed the mission, and he winds up becoming a member of the Blue House staff (the tech section, mainly) so he can get closer to his targets, who are his real mission.]

Also, character names were changed to fit the Korean setting.

I love all things City Hunter. I really liked this version, too. I was also going to say that whomever wrote this article didn't pay attention to the series. Oh well, I'm just happy to hear this news.
