I agree with the suggestion of an anthology structure for people, but IMHO we don't have enough staff to keep track of agencies in that manner—the entries would fall behind too quickly for us to keep up. I am also not convinced of the utility of such an entry.

In search, series and oav as separate options.
The two are totally different. While true that a lot of oav's are related to a series, if we're interested in watching it we can already access it via each anime's page. |

This is also something I've been wanting. The list tool allows you to specify OAVs, but the genre search doesn't have that option. I'd also like the list tool to be able to exclude hentai titles, which is something the genre search can do. |

Link related interviews to the encyclopedia entries like reviews are. While looking at ANN's interviews section, I noticed that the interviews I looked up didn't appear on the personal profile of the individuals being interviewed nor on the page of the anime they were involved at the moment.

Only allow the inclusion of alternative titles from languages other than Japanese if companies from their respective countries have been inputted into the encyclopedia page of that specific anime.

Remove "English" from your sentence and I'll agree with you 100%. |

Is it possible for company pages to list Anime they have worked on to be listed by year order when you select the option in your preferences?
ANN already gives the option for Staff and People, would it be possible to have this available for companies too? |

On the matter of Company Pages, Official Website, Kanji Name, Foundation Date and of course Anime are all instant show. But adding other information requires approval from editors, which I might add doesn't seem to happen and if it does well not very often.
Now The Other Information is where you would post things like company's relations (like XEBEC is a Production I.G subsidiary). So would it be possible to either, make Other information instant or just add more features to company pages? |

If the same sort of data is submitted often under "other information" it can be added as an option - I'm pretty sure Kanji Name wasn't there originally for example.

I was searching the top movies in specific combinations of genres and in my head it's a lot of "seen it. seen it. seen it..." Is there a feature that allows you to search excluding what's already in your own anime list?

Has there ever been thought about noting in the entry when a show wins an award? Works like Summer Wars and Madoka Magica have won a lot of awards, but the only note of them is buried in the "In the News" section, and I've been thinking that'd it be helpful to have it be in the forefront.
Basically, have you ever considered an "Awards Won" section? |

Thinking on the comment just made regarding spoilers in the encyclopedia in the FAQ thread, is there any way to make a spoiler code for cast lists? Not necessarily like the one in the forums (the hover to read type), but maybe one like on TV tropes, where you can see marks starting and ending the spoiler, and you have to highlight it to read it?
For example: Usagi Tsukino / [Sailor Moon] That way, characters with multiple identities can freely be entered without inadvertently spoiling people who don't know. [edit]And, of course, I end up on the wrong color background to make the text perfectly invisible, but it's not a problem on the encyclopedia, since it's a white background. |

Would it be possible to add a "Number of episodes:TBD" designation for series in progress?
It seems to be such a common misunderstanding, someone looks at an encyclopedia page and sees "Episode titles: We have 13" and mark it as proof that the series will only be that long (I did so early on), when the truth is you simply haven't confirmed the number of further episodes, whether you expect more or not. If you were to allow text to be formatted for the "Number of episodes" credit I really think it should be there from the start, and be given a "TBD" and/or, "ongoing", or "in progress" designation if the number hasn't been confirmed. It seems like such an easy alteration that could save some confusion. ...although I assume that would just cause some people to think that every show with a "TBD" designation is continuing, even when it isn't expected to, but I think it's better than nothing. |

"None", "Mild", "Significant", and "Intense" aren't quite working out for me when I'm deciding what to show a nine-year-old, and don't quite work out with other people either.
I'm fine with showing my brother Detective Conan, a "Significant" series, but not Full Metal Panic!, another "Significant" series (though I would find Fumoffu fine). My propose of a new age-rating system: All ages (nothing objectionable) 10+ (insert content advisories here) 13+ (insert content advisories here) 16+ (insert content advisories here) 18+ (explicit sexual content) For example, Elfen Lied would be rated 16+ for "strong gore, nudity and some language." My age-ratings probably aren't the best, though, so feel free to imrpove them. |

They do have defined meanings:
AA None OC Mild (mild bad language and/or bloodless violence) TA Significant (bloody violence and/or swearing and/or nudity) MA Intense (graphic depictions of sex, drug use, or bloodshed) AO Pornographic Which are displayed when you mouseover the rating: |
