I think this might be the first time I've ever seen a showing in Pittsburgh for any anime movie... usually the closest one to me is Columbus, Philly, or New York (which really isnt that close)...

I assume this is going to be a dubbed movie?

Astute readers will notice that Canada will also be getting screenings. Good to hear.

It'd be a good idea to mention in the article & news heading that it'll also be screening in Canada, as well.

It depends. Given the article, it's implied that the movie has, or will be finished recording by the time of its debut. It could be either language. In my case, my theater played Eva 1.0 in English, but we got Eva 2.0 and Trigun in Japanese.

Oh yeah, it's coming to Houston for a whole week. Can't wait to watch the animation work they did for this one on the big screen.

Believe me, this is not the first pittsburgh anime showing. Eva 2.0 (or 1.0 can't remember) was screened at the Oaks cinema a while back. I'm just glad that I literally only have to drive down the road to see it, since the Oaks is so close to my apartment. Convenience at its best Wink

Whooh! Canada nation-wide. I just hope it isn't sub-only like Eva 2.22 was (at least where I live). I don't like reading subtitles in the movie theater Neutral.

I'm so happy that the Plaza isn't the only theater in Atlanta getting this. Part of the "allure" is that the theater is old and decrepit but at the same time... it's old and decrepit. All the chairs are broken, there are no subwoofers AND the tweeters are dead so there is zero bass and zero treble for everything that they show.

Especially when the theatre doesn't set the player up correctly and you end up with the sub-titles partially cut-off so that you only see the top line. This happened at my local theatre when they were showing the Trigun: Badland Rumbles movie.

Saw FMA: The Sacred Star Of Milos at the recent Vancouver Asian Film Festival 15. Quite enjoyed it and there was a pretty good crowd in attendance. Probably at least 275 people. Wouldn't mind seeing the movie again dubbed (was sub-titled for VAFF). Hate it when I'm missing the beauty of the animation (no matter the title) because I'm constantly trying to keep up with the sub-titles.
