Seems to me those video clips are from the previous two seasons and the movies, so they were kind of spoiler free for the third season.

I haven't seen either season's, but nothing really registered as a spoiler. I guess if you don't know what to look for you wont realize it; at least I didn't really.
The trailer makes me want to watch the series. I have been considering just going out on a blind-buy after a recommendation from a friend, but I am still a little hesitant... I will when I manage to make some more cash. I'm pretty broke at the moment since I budgeted most of my cash for the Madoka collectors sets.

i watched both seasons but never seen the movie and if they are picking up where the movie left off then lets hope there is legal way to watch it.

It depends on how fast FUNimation can release the movie. If it's too quick of a release, however, the Japanese companies may force FUNi to release it just to DVD (and delay Blu-ray) like they did with the second series.

You should at least give it a try. I first had my doubts, and even dropped it, but then I came back to the series like a year later, and wondered why in the world I decided to drop it. Awesome anime in my opinion.

Has it been confirmed that a blu-ray release of the second season is still coming out?
