Ouch.

As if there weren't enough flame wars between Naruto/Bleach/One Piece fans.

Except for all the Americans who watch Bleach through Crunchyroll, which seem to be quite a few.

Hopefully, Bleach is just being bumped forward 30 minutes to 6:30 or something. For Bleach to end at the hands of that blowhard ass would just be too much for me!

That being said, Bleach might not even get dubbed beyond the Arrancar Downfall arc, so I guess to see the Decision and Fullbring arcs or whatever the hell they're called, I might have to switch to subs...

Oh, what's the point of it all!?

It's called "Deicide", not "Decision" arc. Deicide means "to kill a God".

And I'm a little surprised this is happening. Bleach has been getting worse and worse with time, but I didn't think it could be pushed off the grid by an SD spin-off.

Bleach does seem to be getting to the point of ending. The Fullbring story arc looks like it would end with Ichigo getting his powers back, but where do they go after that? The Soul Society has been done to death.

Has anybody checked to see what channels these air on? If they're different channels then it could be a case of the two going head-to-head.

The King's Domain would be the next logical step for a 'final arc'.
They hinted it during the Vizard/Visored flashback arc, when they mentioned a Captain had be promoted.
Also, Aizen wanted to create the key to enter the King's Domain didn't he? We still don't know much about Ichigo's dad. Was he one of these Captains that got promoted to the Royal Guard?
All speculation, but that's my guess anyway.

Actually Kubo recently said that a new story arc is taking place that will be even longer than the arrancar arc. But I do love Bleach and I seriously hope the anime isn't cancelled.

Didn't you guys spot this a few days earlier. Was kinda hard to miss. Anyhow, someday all the long running show has to end and something else will take their place. The day One Piece, Naruto & Bleach are no more will be like an new world...

I always wondered how the limited series spinoff model would work in manga. While this isn't exactly a 4 issue Frank Miller/Chris Claremont style miniseries, the answer seems to be "quite well".
