OMG!!! Someone picked this up??? And what's even more surprising that you got BOOTY-MAN Yoshitomo-san (GaoGaiGar, Brigadoon, Godannar, Variable Geo, Code Geass, etc...) on the project? I would have never imagined him to get picked for this show, but his style is up there with the likes of Gainax's crack, but in more moderation.

I think you're referring to Takahiro Kimura there, the character designer. Yoshitomo Yonetani is the director (he didn't work on Godannar, VG, or CG). |

Oh!! Thats riiiight!! Yep that's exactly what I was thinking. I read the part where they said Yonetani, but connected with Takahiro Yimura. Thing is I'm familiar with them both but only concentrated on one. That's how much Kimura-san stands out. Plus, it's been a long while since I've heard Yonetani-san's name. Add another series to those two's track record, since they both worked on this as well. Every time Yoshitomo Yonetani does a project KIMTAKA's(his portmateau) the one who does the character designs. Wouldn't have GaoGaiGar if not for those two. I'm hoping to see this series as well. I have to admire NIS for releasing a package like this. |
