I'm kinda "meh" on this series. Looks interesting though but I hope the first episode brings on a good impression.
If so, I might watch this rather than Area no Kishi that's still continuing to air. |

This show is far more watchable than it has any right to be. Yeah it's got the horrible Sports clichés (along with some power-level nonsense going on), and I could easily name a dozen Sports shows off the top of my head that are waaay better than this. But this show keeps me coming back week after week, and I don't know why. Weird.
I notice that the Manga is crazily popular; kind of sad when the current giant in the Sports genre is a story as mediocre as this. |
