Even though I've only seen 6 Miyazaki films, I kinda get the feeling that I could watch the other Ghibli films and nothing would top Princess Mononoke.

I really enjoyed Arrietty. I loved to book The Borrowers so getting to see it animated was a real treat for me. So I voted for Arrietty.

I'm mostly a fan of Ghibli's older works as I personally think the quality of their titles started to take a hit starting from Spirited Away and onward. While I do currently have Arrietty in my queue on Netflix, I'm not greatly anticipating too much enjoyment from it since the film is geared towards children judging from what I've looked up on summaries and reviews of it online.

With that cynicism out of the way, I will say that my all-time personal favorite Ghibli title would be Kiki's Delivery Service. Find it to be a perfect family film that has a meaningful moral lesson, comes bundled with Hayao Miyazaki's regular elements, clean in terms of content and doesn't make me feel alienated seeing it considering it doesn't gear itself specifically towards younger audiences.

Voted for Arriety, although I did enjoy Howl's Moving Castle.

Any reason in particular as to why "From Up On Poppy Hill" was left off the list?

Neck to neck between Whisper of the Heart and Only Yesterday. But I often watch Kiki's Delivery Service than both combined..

Very hard to say. Top 5 are Nausicaa, Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro and Mononoke.

I just choose Totoro because it has the greatest re-watch value thanks to it's complete lack of plot. Though Nausicaa, Grave of the Fireflies and Mononoke can be more powerful.

Porco Rosso was such a great story, and well voice acted (in Japanese). It was a cool noir kind of film. Reminds me of a anime casablanka
