I feel that in addition to rating an anime, there could also be a "would you re-watch this anime?" poll. For me personally, there are many anime series that I like but would probably not watch again for various reasons or don't want to rate poorly just because of my own personal tastes.
I feel this would be a great addition to the website and could be put right underneath the rating poll for each anime. It could be a blunt: Yes / No Or a multitude of choices. An example: - Yes, Many Times - Once a year - No, but worth one watch - Never What do you think? |

That wouldn't go under forum polls, but on the anime page itself.
It think it's useless. My ratings already reflect my chances of re-watching something. For example, I'd ideally re-watch my Masterpieces at least once a year. |

For what it's worth, MyAnimeList.net has a "rewatch value" category when you list something there. It is separate from the rating and has 5 choices (very low, low, medium, high, very high). At least fo some of us, the overall rating and the rewatch value do not always coincide, as other factors (such as the length of the show) can come into play.
Wasn't there a thread about rewatching anime a while back? |
