Max Jenius.

Hikaru is pretty bad compared to Max.

In fact, I'd put Isamu Dyson above Hikaru. And Guld Bowman.

I think Van Fanel from Escaflowne and Sara Werec from Str.A.In. should be on this list. At least one of them, anyway. Razz

I voted for Jurai as well, that's definitely a level of tech I could get used to. Plus it would mean I was in the Tenchi universe, which seems to be ripe for fun times. Catia would probably make a better vacation spot, though since we never hear or see much of it, who knows.

Nice list this week, especially with some characters/series I wouldn't have expected to see. I don't think I would put Asuka as high though. Over the course of the series she only gets worse due to her fragile mental state and in EoE she obviously showed a lot of skill, but you'd want a pilot who was a bit more stable over the course of the series imo.

Most giant mech series pilots could probably be put on this list, so to pick someone other than a mech pilot, how about Gene from Outlaw Star, Spike & Faye from Cowboy Bebop or any number of the pilots from Vandread?

I just watched 7 episodes of Code Geass (and going to watch more in a bit), so I was fully expecting to see Kallen on the list. Glad I wasn't disappointed.

Interesting list this week.

I am so torn on this poll - Jurai is great because of all the trees, but the Silver Millennium...of course, it didn't end well for the Silver Millennium...I'd have to think about it. What are Queen Serenity's economic policies? Smile

Any Utena fan who picked the Movie car over the Akio car from the TV series is not an Utena fan. That car verges on a Top Gear wet dream with how they animated it. Actually no, the car is just another metaphor for sex with how it was animated. But still, that car... how could you NOT wanna? I really can't think of a car that was animated with more... love..?

Yeah, what the hell at that. Hikaru is EASILY the worst pilot among all the Macross lead characters.

Also, for Macross, Hikaru? Really? He himself admits that Max is a far better pilot, and I'd definitely have Max on my team over Hikaru. Seems I'm not the only one going "wtf?" on this choice, even within just original Macross, I'd got for Roy or especially Max any day. Not even counting all the side Macross series (as I've not seen them all)
