This sounds quite interesting. Is it just me or does Vertical seem to be releasing a lot of 1-omnibus series?

Ed likes series like that since it takes away a lot of the gamble. If a series bombs, and it's only a few volumes long, they don't have to drudge their way through the rest of it for too long (or in the case of omnibus editions, at all).

Woah, this is insane! I was just about to pick this up, too!

I'll definitely be getting it when it comes out! I love Asumiko Nakamura.

Ohhhh! Asumiko's artwork is absolutely sublime and I've often felt sad that there's not more of her stuff available in English. I can't wait to get this!!

Haven't heard of this before, but a one volume omnibus by Vertical? Yeah, I'm game. Though chances are I will end up timing it so I can pick it up from Ed at a convention in person.

An odd realization I had was how much of my manga is mystery/horror, considering I do not think of myself as a horror reader that much. Especially because I'm not the type to get legitimately scared by scary things. Perhaps I just really like the unsettling feeling as we watch someone's mind begin to unravel.

Anyone know how graphic this manga is with regards to violence and sex? I'm sorta curious about it, but don't want something too excessive (for me), like Lychee Light Club.

Horror? There's no horror in this comic. No violence. No gore. No comedy. All mystery and drama between adults.

Fair enough. I have an appreciation for both geners and tend to associate them heavily. Regardless looks like I will be adding yet another Vertical book to my collection.

No violence. Period. This is a mystery drama. Don't even see any death take place. The focus is entirely on the mystery - of the novel and its author.

There are a couple hot sex scenes though. Not pornographic but there are three or so sex scenes. Pretty tasteful.

Okay! This sounds acceptable (as in I won't get grossed out) and I'm intrigued now. For some reason I was getting the impression it was a horror/mystery, and this sounds much better. Will be picking up now. Thanks for elaborating!
