now those were some pretty epic battles

So true. My favorites so far have been spoiler[Eclair vs Lady Leon and Nanami vs Lady D'Arquin.] I especially like how nobody is holding back in any of the matches, even though everyone are friends Very Happy

I also got a chuckle from the fanservice for the ladies involving Gaul. Smile

Episode 11

spoiler[I really enjoy these Dog Days' episodes.
It's so refreshing to watch their fight games and them having fun during and after.
There are no hard feelings from the losers and everyone remains friends.
I keep on wishing our planet would adopt that kind fights instead of real ones.
Paintball or air soft or some kind of sports event would be a nice substitute.
Now back to episode 11.
The body switching thing was fun to watch.
Sink really did a number on his own body LOL]

It was a pretty fun episode ^^

I'm really looking forward to watching this. Haven't seen season one yet though, so I'm putting the second one on hold until Crunchyroll have fully uploaded both (they did say that they would upload the first, didn't they?).

Gotta admire Cinque's integrity. If I found myself in Yukikaze's body I'd do all sorts of things that are against the rules to discuss here Twisted Evil

Everyone has probably already noticed this, but does there seem to be an awful lot of indirect references to food in Dog Days?

Biscotti - a type of pastry (Princess Millhiore Biscotti and country of Biscotti)
Eclair - a type of pastry (Eclair Martinozzi)
Ricotta - a type of cheese (Ricotta Elmar)
Amaretto - liqueur (Violet Amaretto)
Grand Marnier - brandy (Adélaïde Grand Marnier)
Calvados - brandy (Valério Calvados)
Galette/Galette de Rois - pastry (Leonmichelli Galette des Rois and country of Galette))
panettone - bread (Yukikaze Panettone)
brioche - bread (Brioche D'Arquien)
pastillage - sweet doe (Couvert Eschenbach Pastillage and country of Pastillage)

Every nation got an exchange Hero service.
It was nice each nation got a different nation's hero for a day.
Girls getting themselves into maze full of traps was LOL
The final stage was really nice.]

Just finished watching the 2nd season and I thought overall, it was a cute ride. I thought the finale was sort of lackluster but was definitely cute and somewhat entertaining.

I liked Rebecca's hair down more though and she should keep it that way. Hmm, maybe she will if this series gets a season 2 as judging by the ending, a "see ya soon!" is shown.

Anyways, not bad for this series.

Ah, that hit the spot. This is one of the most soothing, calming anime I know of. I can never finish watching an eppie without a smile on my face. So cute. I did enjoy the first season more (which is why I rated it Very Good compared to the second season's Good) but I appreciated the beefed up roles for Becky and Nanami, as well as the introduction of Cou-sama.

I really want someone to license these in NA! Hell, I'd even accept AoA's anus-busting prices if that's what it takes to own them.

I forgot the Japanese release had subs. Yeah, let me clarify: I am prepared to pay AoA's North American release anus-busting prices, but not Japan's standard anus-annihilating prices.

@ getchman: they really seemed to leave open the possibility of a third season (happy day!) and in terms of what they could do: more of the same, which would be fine by me. They certainly don't need to introduce any more characters; I couldn't even really keep track of all the ones that currently exist. Just more Princess-Hero-Demon King-Knight hijinks, I guess.

Anyone know if Dog Days' also has subs on the BD release?

I'm preparing to do some funny math to be able to afford the JP prices. Razz

From what I understand Dog Days' doesn't have English subs. I'm sure I remember someone remarking how it was odd that the first season did, but not the second.
