More Squid Girl is good; It's good to know that season 1 sold enough to allow MB to further unleash the kraken.

As to when, whenever's fine.

- Why hold the licensing rights to a title (Bakuman) if you keep pushing it back, and then say you don't plan to do anything with it?

- I believe it will go to Viz. We wanted to release it but the sales were not there.

Hmm...more Squid Girl is good. I only hope the packaging has improved. I might have to wait for the Bluray release, due to the fact that it's supposed to be harder to scratch.

Media Blasters Changes / Cancelations
Well, we've gotten yet another update from Media Blasters and I wanted to pass it on to everyone. Looks like some of those titles that have been bumping now for several cycles are finally being canceled outright:

Gao-Gai-Gar Complete DVD Boxed Set (Eps #1-49) - CANCELED
Fushigi Yugi, the Mysterious Play OVA DVD Boxed Set - CANCELED
Kite BLURAY (Remastered) - CANCELED

The following titles have had their dates changed:

Queen's Blade/Queens Blade 2 Complete DVD Boxed Set - Nov 13 to Mar 22
Ai no Kusabi (OVA) DVD - Mar 12 to Apr 23

Wow, just when I thought they were going to get all of Fushigi Yugi out the door. Makes me glad a picked up Pioneer's release when I did.

I agree with Robert's final thoughts. It would be nice not to look at every MB announcement and release date with skepticism.

Oh, wow. I ended up buying the Pioneer release of the OVAs a few weeks ago (because I thought the MB release would be delayed), and now I'm really glad I did! Sad to see the MB release entirely canceled, though. Sad

.......That's it. I give up.

Media Blasters, you were already dead to me. Now you are so far beyond dead, I refuse to acknowledge that you ever existed in the first place. You aren't even worth a single nanosecond's worth of a glimmer of thought to ever cross through the synapses of my mind. You aren't worthy of being called trash; you aren't even worthy of being referred to as the excrement of the bacteria that eats said trash.

In short, Media Blasters.... YOU SUCK. Go rot in hell. Evil or Very Mad
