Are they trying to make a fad outta this? In my opinion, the show looks kinda cool. I will keep my eye on it.

Didn't The Boondocks rip-off this in a recent episode?

I have to admit this is an interesting creation. I was wondering when they were going to get this up and running.

Better put that on my list of manga suggestions. I'm sure the students here will find this worth a read.

No. That scene was an homage to another samurai movie, Zatoichi, the Blind Samurai.

He said recent. That was an older one.

This reminds me of the independent comics that were coming out from companies like First, Eclipse and Dark Horse during the late 80s and early 90s.

I'll give it a look but at first glance, despite the dynamic artwork, I wonder if this isn't one of those derivitive creations that borrows from a huge number of sources but never manages to seamlessly blend into something all it's own.

Of course, that describes about 75% of all anime and manga, so I don't get what the fuss is surrounding this book.
