Ehh, not a big fan of the cg they used to make genesect. Is it so hard for companies to just animate something with metal instead of jumping right to cg to make it?

The Pokemon films almost always use CGI more heavily in the trailers than in the finished products. The 2012 film, Kyurem VS. the Sword of Justice, was the first to be significantly different, using CGI heavily on Kyurem in addition to completely CGI-ing the Cryogonal and many of the landscapes.

Otherwise, the heaviest use of CGI in these movies usually comes with settings and landscapes. The gear Pokemon in the 2011 movie were CGI but only because they had to constantly be moving at all times.

Most people, including subbers, don't use the Japanese names of attacks for whatever reason. Thus, ExtremeSpeed

This is hardly the first time. Zoroark: Master of Illusions had three, and they didn't even do all that much in the movie. At least here, Genesect appears to be the star.

I think it's also worth considering that Genesect's body is probably completely covered in the cybernetic enhancements Team Plasma installed on it, so if what this trailer implies is true - that there are two Genesect, and the Shiny one has abnormal speed and strength - then it's likely that the Shiny Genesect is a more 'perfected' version and the red coloring reflects that.

Of course, the practical explanation is that if there are indeed two Genesect in the film, the colors are there simply to tell them apart.
