Again, just because a show has a high nudity and fan-service count, and DOES pander to that audience - that doesn't mean that's all there is to it. I again cite Girls Bravo. The anime is a lot more fanservicey than the already pretty trumped up manga (from what little I read anyway), was that done to make it sell better? Probably. Did the anime benefit? Yup. One of the best things about it is it's absolute lack of fear. |

Yes. They do. Apparently Sekirei sold out really quickly, for example. These shows are what's keeping Funi afloat. |

If fanservice sells then I hope the same goes for Qwaser so we can get a dub & Blu-ray in a year or two. Still shocked FUNi passed on that show.

Have you considered that, perhaps, you are not looking at this the right way? Senran Kagura is not a substitute for porn. If I want porn, I'll go and get porn. Its not hard to find, after all. |

FUNi seems to always grab the ecchi-lite titles. The ones with hot characters with rockin' bods, but actually very little or no nude content, like Sekirei, Asobi ni Ikuyo, Sora no Otoshimono, this, etc. Highschool DxD may be some of the most extreme they've gotten as of late. I don't think they'd ever pick up Ladies Versus Butlers, Manyuu Hikenchou, or that sort. Sentai are the ones grabbing those with Queen's Blade, TLR:D, and hopefully more. |

I hate fanservice-y shows like these and even Im sick of people giving Funi crap over them, and yet Sentai always gets a free pass for it's harem or fanservice shows they're always picking up? Who licensed the latest Queens Blade again?
Either blame japan for making crap like this or your fellow fans for buying it, because they're why every anime company licenses stuff like this. |

There's nothing wrong with licensing ecchi series like Senran Kagura or Queen's Blade. But when your catalog consists mostly of this type of series, people will complain. Sentai definitely has the widest range of acquisitions in terms of genres, hands down. Because they're the ones who got Queen's Blade and Seikon no Qwaser doesn't mean they license just that kind of anime. The same can be said about Funimation obviously, but it's up to anyone to check their catalog and make their own judgement. And mine's made. |

it's so obvious that Funi-service was going pick-up this in just an instant now we all need is dub cast?
with a 10 dollars guess IF manyuu hikenchou is soon to be license-dub yea so giving 10 dollars who ever license it someday. so now with this pick-up any ideas which Funi voice on it? |

I never give Sentai a free pass. I think the majority of its catalogue is a complete joke and when they license something too fanservice-filled, I wretch loudly for all to hear. |
