This is great. Well deserved since the show just gets better and better by just seeing ep 2.

I hope the show is made in mind with more seasons like Strike Witches. I know they're going back to it after this, but I'd like to see a rotation.

It's because of the DOCKING sequence, isn't it? Laughing

Thats the best late night ratings I've heard of in the last couple years... those are like Noitamina ratings during its prime.

I hope Vividred keeps up the momentum.

Why are people getting so happy about this? This is not impressive at all.

We're just happy that anime is getting good ratings and that people's hard work is paying off! Even if it's not a show I'm watching, this is good news!

For a late night anime it is.

Its insanely impressive for a late night anime. They generally do 0.5-1%. Like I said in an earlier post, this is the highest late night rating I've heard in years... even better than Madokas Finale people waited months for, which did about a 3%.

Too bad it was a full week with all the big shows airing otherwise it might have been able to make the top 10.

My mistake. Mad

Still a little surprised at the rating though.

Aniplex has been going all out with its advertising... doing movie theater promos, full page ads in major Tokyo newspapers and commercials in prime time. They are trying to make it their next mega hit, so with all those advertisements it doesn't surprise me a lot of people watched it, but it does surprise its THIS many.

And it seems to be paying off quite well.

I do wonder if a Season 2 is possible and an eventual movie hopefully. Depending on financial success.

I'm also guessing Strike Witches 3 will be done by A-1?

I wasn't convinced with episode 1, but I thoroughly enjoyed episode 2. Great action, excellent humour and just a ton of fun.

So 3.7% of people watching TV in Japan at 2 AM want to see close-ups of adolescent girls' butts?

The visuals are good and stuff, the plot seems ok, but I feel like the cameraman just keeps dropping his camera on the ground and in other random low placed locations...

Seriously though, if this is popular in Japan, then I think they have very very different tastes than I do.
