This is a joke, right? A sick joke? IT'S NOT??? Shocked *hides in corner*

I honestly thought the Pokemon trend had died out by now...I mean, it seems most everything Pokemon-related comes out in the US because everybody <3s Pikachu & Friends but nothing new has come out lately...

No, it's true. In fact they have posters of it on the doors of every convenience store (be it 7-11, OK, Niko-mart, etc.) here.

I want to check this, but I'll be going away on the 24th, so maybe I'll go there when I come back on September.

Or maybe not. Rolling Eyes

It's yen and not dollars, right?

Those pics are so cute! I would take my kids there if I had any.

Taiwan's currency is Dollars, not Yen.

That makes more sense now. I thought the fee was expensive.

So that means then...

Quote:
One-day tickets: Adults NT$ 860 ; Children NT$650
Advance tickets: Adults NT$700 ; Children NT$520
Full-event pass tickets: Adults: NT$ 2,500 ; Children: NT$1,800

Roughly translates to...

One-day tickets: Adults: $26.46; Children: $20
Advance Tickets: Adults: $21.54; Children: $16
Full-event pass tickets: Adults: $76.91; Children: $55.38

What's up with all the negative "this has to be a sick joke" responses? I think it looks like a fun, cute place to take your kids. Those hats those children are wearing in that picture are adorable.

Oh, I was going to go to Taiwan this summer, but my trip it got postponed... What a shame. I would've loved to take my kid bro there, and of course check it out for a nostalgia trip Anime hyper.

So can anyone who has been to it while it was in Japan give us the scoop? Worth going to if you're not a kid? I'm teaching here in Taiwan and I must admit that the advertisements that I see at every 7-11 and convenience store around have got me curious.
