Now with Princess Knight out of the way, here's hoping we hear a date for Cobra TV part 1 in a month or two. Smile

It's like it goes from dusk to high noon. Incredible difference.

Nice to see a publisher give consumers a straight-up explanation for a delay. Of course, I doubt anyone will mind waiting for better visual quality.

So I got my Rose of Versailles box set today. The set itself is of course very pretty, but mine has dirt smudges all over it, both on the actual outside box and the individual DVDs. Sad

edit: Okay doing some research maybe it's supposed to look like that. Someone said they were trying to get a marble effect. It just looks like random smudges dirt to me.

Tis a shame because the rest of the set is absolutely gorgeous.

I got mine today and noticed the same thing, I think it is an attempt at making it look like marble (as for the box, if you take the shrink wrap off you can remove the data sheet from the back which has the marking, though there are some marks on the top of the box).

This just in...

Rightstuf just announced their latest acquisition and it's a big one: they've gotten video distribution rights to Gundam Unicorn and will begin release of the series to DVD in August.

A very impressive scoop for a small distrib. Sadly, I can already anticipate the howls of dismay that it won't be available in BD...

Considering how cheap each of these sets are compared to the blu ray (about 20 bucks for each set, each containing two eps), I say its a small price to pay

haven't really watched gundam since the toonami days, but hey, I'll check this out

I agree with you publicenemy333, but I am very aware of how the "gimme BD or gimme nuthin'" crowd thinks and I know they are going to go apeshit. You can set your watch by it.

I had to miss out on this one (too much Bandai stuff, too little time and money) and was planning on buying the R4 release, so I couldn't be happier that Rightstuf got this! Pre-ordering right now Very Happy
