Sounds like I'm feeling similar to the posters above me. Three episodes in and I'm not really vibing on this show the way I did after the very first. I'll continue to watch but this show has become a possible drop at some point which I would not have predicted after the first episode.

I liked that when he said he'll protect them both no matter what they both blushed Laughing

The demon things would have been cool, but the picture was just so dark, I wanted to have a closer look at that demon chick with the wings, but I could barely make out the features. ED song is still good though.

You mean Lilim (DeSu2-style pics are down at the bottom)?

This episode had a good balance between new info and action.
Those three were pretty eager to join the fight this time.
Guess they like they new role as summoners.
Byakko is definitely my fav demon ^^
The new mission was really good with nice amount of action and intensity.

Episode 4
This episode and series has shown me that life is fragile especially that beginning.

Anyways, I feel sorry for Hibiki somewhat but he should look forward and not let spoiler[Keita's death go in vain.] That Septentrion is freaking powerful though. spoiler[SURVIVAL RATE: 0%]

Poor spoiler[Hinako] ;.;

Episode 4

So much death. Did anyone else get the strong desire to punch that JP leader, acting so indifferent and barely a flinch at so many people dyeing. Perhaps Hibiki will do better spoiler[with some other faction].

I'm done. This is garbage. "Let's kill off a bunch of unlosable characters, because we're too lazy to animate/develop them!" And completely changing characters, their identities, and their roles. Oh, and that's not even counting the massive amount of spoilers all over the place. So glad I've already played the game, considering spoiler[revealing the Anguished One as Alcor] is a DAY SEVEN spoiler that greatly changes what you thought was going on.

There's nothing like a tragedy to make them fully aware of danger.
This time things got really serious.
The enemy was spoiler[huge and practically unbeatable.]
Hibiki may have spoiler[overestimated] his abilities...
Action filled episode with some intense moments.

I think this anime is almost meant to appeal towards people who experienced the games. I'm loving the animated approach to the series (but I agree that the game's way of storytelling seems more appropriate). Its also funny how Hibiki is really op in this, maybe he's on a new game+ xD

I don't really mind that they killed spoiler[Keita] because I hate him [I let him die in my playthrough too]. I believe the anime will be 13 episodes so they're speeding up the events to meet the time frame.

According to MAL, the JP leader is only 17 years old. How did someone so young become the leader? I didn't mind him being indifferent about the deaths. I think that type of leader is the best choice in those situations.

Gotta love Hibiki's spirit tbh. Episode felt a bit slow for me though, hopefully business picks up again soon.

#5

Guess I was expecting too much from this anime.
Not as much action as I was hoping to see this time.
The story kept switching around a lot.
Things got interesting near the end.
That kid is rather scary.

For those that haven't played the game, here's a pretty good measurement of everyone's standing based on summoned monster levels (thus far):

spoiler[
Hibiki's Byakko is level 53. His Suzaku is level 62.
Yamato's Cerberus is level 58. Which he summoned as a child.
Daichi's Obariyon is level 3. His Agathon is level 6.
Io's Kikuri-hime is level 27.]

Episode 5

I actually did not mind the pace this episode, I found that it was important in setting up that the douchebag that sacrificed all those people really not very good. He is an spoiler[elitist who believes himself as more important than everyone else because he is smart, has a big ego and apparently has a super powerful demon, a demon that he did not used against the other that cost a lot of lives]. I can really go for the spoiler["insurgents" as it stands against the other guy], the ending also seemed to show that despite his talk of the strong leading he spoiler[does not play fair and is relying on the MC's strength]. Hypocrite.

And was the bunny hood really necessary, not that I don't mind how it makes him kind of cute for some strange reason.

Episode 6

spoiler[Hibiki looks totally ridiculous in that hoody.
Wish they'd give more info about the summon app.
This anime is more and more looking like a crossover of a few anime from my younger days, just a bit more action filled and with a mysterious story.
The core is basically the same as all summoned things anime.
It also on a slightly higher level than those anime aimed at kids.]
