Thank you very much Smile

Kinda interested in To Love Ru anime...

Where do I actually start?

They have this "Darkness" show and I have no idea where the hell it fits.

^ It is a ridiculous show. For whatever reason, they purposefully made it look like it was animated in the 80s. Plot-wise, I could make no sense of the little I've seen. I could see how some would find its ridiculousness hilarious, but I just found it weird. Here's a clip. It was made in 2006, though you'd never know from watching.

It really is ridiculous. I think so too.

Also be aware that there are OVAs in between each pair of series. The ones preceding Motto are particularly important, as they introduce characters that appear regularly in Motto.

Is anime network streaming them?

That's where I'm watching right now.

I'm considering picking up the old Project A-Ko boxed set. Does anyone know if the original film in this set is the cropped widescreen version or the original full-frame version?

For whatever reason, the OVAs are not legally available in the States. (Sentai Filmworks skipped over them when licensing the series, apparently.) I strongly recommend tracking down fansubs for the pre-Motto six-pack before foraying into Motto, as otherwise three new regular characters will suddenly pop up in Motto without explanation and you'll wonder who they are and how they entered the picture.

Since my question is a bit too insignificant for a high-traffic thread like the Stream, maybe someone here will read it and be able to answer it?

I was watching Ketsuekigata-kun (the short anime about bloo-types) -I watched the first two episodes- and enjoying it a lot, but for some reason it seems like no more episodes are coming out, or nobody is subbing them. Does anyone know what's going on? Also, is Hetalia: Beautiful World over? It's marked as "Ongoing" in Wikipedia, but there hasn't been a new episode in three weeks so I'm confused

I know for the one you linked that all three of the dvds are 4:3. A cd OST is also a part of that box set.

I just noticed that a remastered version is also available now. No idea how I missed that or when I decided to pass on it but I'm going to revisit the old one to see if I still have any interest in an upgrade.

@lem: Thanks for the reply. That's what I needed to know. Smile

I was aware of Discotek's new version, but I want to collect the complete franchise and love soundtracks. That old set seemed like the cheapest way to have it all.
