Just says entering the climax. Doesn't say ending in the 32nd volume. So it could still be months before ending.

I had a bit of a feeling things felt like they we're wrapping things up. I really enjoyed the series. One of my favorite comedies/dramas. I hope they animated the second half of the manga sometime now that an ending is coming up; I'd love to see things like Pocket Dan and the Osaka arc animated. Mainly Pocket Dan, because those guys are great.

I have been meaning to for a while... Still waiting for it to pick up an English licence. I'm suprised VIZ hasn't shown interest.

I'm not. Gintama was a total bomb for them. Sket Dance is like Gintama so I doubt they'd want to even try to market it here.

I don't know how far the anime reached, but I wish they would animate the rest.

While it is similar to Gintama, I don't think it has as many cultural references so there is a slight chance it would do better, no? Maybe this is just wishful thinking though....

Viz hates humor manga, the only reason they even picked Gintama up is because there was a guy with a sword on the cover.

But at least there is a good stream of new(ish) series to take their place i.e. Attack on Titan, Flowers of Evil, The Limit etc.

the next volume will have the story's climax.

Other sites are clearly reporting it's the final volume

But the printed blurb from SJ that MangaNews tweeted doesn't actually say anything about ending, only "climax"—so while the end is surely nearing, I don't know that this is full confirmation the next volume is the last.

Didn't this happen with Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun/My Little Monster where "climax" was interpreted as "ending next volume"? (and by the same MangaNews source.) I don't remember how/if that worked out, but if v11 was published in January and (according to MangaUpdates when I checked just now) the last chapter will run this month, allowing for the published volumes to be at least a couple chapters behind the serialized chapters (as is normal), that seems more like two volumes remaining to be collected, not one (unless there was a month or two off...)

Anyway. I really want to see this manga in English someday, whether that dream is realistic or not. Please, Viz. With more series like this one and Cross Manage, I'll become a shounen fan (again) yet...

Looking like Sket Dance is sketting to a stop.

Its too bad, but the characters need grow up and go to college.

I loved the anime, it was amusing and sometimes it stories were compelling. The music was awesome on a whole.

I wonder what creators of the manga will do now with it ending?
