The caption is wrong. It's a brother and a sister. The confusion may have come because in Portuguese, the word for a brother and a sister pair is masculine.

I wonder what they won. Maybe like some limited edition DVDs or something. Or money to make up for how much money they spent on going to Japan and making those costumes? But, in my mind, you have to have no life to make a costume that detailed. All I plan on wearing to MangaNEXT is a kick-ass Bleach t-shirt I bought in the Animate store in Akihabara (no pants or underwear, just the shirt Laughing ).

Click on the picture below. I'm pretty sure it's the same people, so just click on that one. If it's not them, then the people who won must really have had detailed costumes, because the picture underneath was by far the most detailed cosplay I've ever seen.

Well, if anything could win a cosplay contest, Angel Sanctuary most likely would. Kaori Yuki draws very well, and very detailed.

I bet as the manga-ka whos characters won for best in the world, she is quite proud. I know I would be.

Quite good cosplay to, though, to be perfectly honest, I have actually seen better AS cosplay. Thats just me, though.

Not really, seeing that no US cosplayers were invited... due to "miscommunications" apparently, there wasn't time to set up a function at any US cons.

Those wings are impressive! Shocked

There's someone, Sakuya Aoi, dressed as a Gundam. I didn't realize it was a person (thought it was a statue/cut out/prop) until I caught a glimpse at the hands...

Where's the Link & Zelda cosplay that Riyousha mentioned? I didn't see that one.
