 I don't like it at all. Hiro Mizushima is cute, but he captures none of Sebastian's sleek sexy style, or the sense of danger he projects.

My sentiments exactly. Despite all the bad changes they made I thought maybe they would at least keep Sebastian awesome but the actor just isn't a good fit for the part. That (to me at least) was the "final nail in the coffin" so to speak. |

I must also add that the "girl can't inherit so she pretends to be a boy" trope has been done to death.
Couldn't they have come up with something more original? It would have been so much cooler if they had played it straight up.

lol thats a pretty creative excuse they came up with to be able to use japanese actors an it not be wierd. I would have set it in an alternate dimension just to be safe

This doesn't work for me.
1. The red contact lenses look like they are bothering his eyes. 2. What's with the gun? Silverware, Sebastian, Silverware! 3. What happened to the twisted sense of humor? 4. Ciel is replaced by a cross-dressing girl. *yawn* -like that hasn't been done before. 5. No Grell Sutcliffe. |

What on earth would they think those people are able to pull of sexy sebby and small and awesome ciel ? To start off, I've seen both of the actor's shows/movies. They're pretty good. However, I just don't think it's going to work out. I'll probably see the first episode, but I've never had a liking to live actions of animes. And why is Ciel a woman? There won't be any fujoshi screams is all I'm saying. If anyone, I'd say Hongo Kanata..because he's sort of short and sort of kid faced.
And Mizushima wasn't all that great in the trailer. My eyes were constantly on his. They were just opening and closing so awkwardly. But he's a cool actor. |

My co-workers were all saying that the more he tries to act cool, the more he fails at it. I'm not familiar with the guy but from what I saw in the trailer, that definitely seems to be accurate. |

I'm confused by this adaptation, expecially Ciel, But I think, I will watch this movie. I love this manga, and I hope this adaptation will be interesting.
