What you say is probably true, but I still laughed out loud at that thought. This must be an incredibly repetitive series, but I guess it's comfort food and a cultural staple by now.

It needed to be. After about 1500 different series, Sazae-san has been on my watch list for decades. Im heading that way next. It no doubt has done it all at this point. Id like to see the ideas the directors of our times were watching when they were growing up.
