Hey guys. Got a bit of a strange request here.

I'm looking for a bunch of anime series with English dubs that have lots of uses of the "F-word". Why you ask? Because I'm wanting to create a list featuring an official number for each show, and rank them accordingly.

The ones I know for sure are:

• Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
• Black Lagoon (both seasons + OVA)
• Gantz
• Mad Bull 34
• Cyber City Oedo 808
• BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad
• Speed Grapher
• Deadman Wonderland
• Highschool of the Dead
• Afro Samurai (OVA + movie)
• Moonlight Mile
• Samurai Gun
• Hellsing: Ultimate (dub not yet complete)

My goal is to watch each of these shows and get an exact count for each and every usage of the F-bomb.

Now, why on earth would I do such a task?

Well.... why the F*** not?! Razz

Anyways, if any of you know of a show that I missed, let me know. Also, if any of you know where I can find exact numbers already, that would make my job a whole lot easier. I know that Black Lagoon has the "F'in Short Versions" on YouTube already, so that helps.

Thanks!! Very Happy

well, Accel Word's got some. mainly when Nico is on screen and she drops the cutesy act. Ash Roller contributes as well

Black Lagoon's total is 367 and PSG is somewhere around 360

Cyber City I recall had quite a few (but they were used so well! Oddly enough) I bet other old series, like Angel Cop, back when licensed OVAs were ultra-violent curse fests, resulted in some hilariously overly curse filled dubs.

You know, that's one of my pet peeves... When I'm watching a dub and running the subtitles at the same time and the curse words are there in the Dub, but aren't in the subtitles...

American companies taking creative liberties? I get it makes it more epic for English listeners, but really there's no need for it if it's not in the original.

Ghost Stories, in the later episodes. I do not remember when it started, maybe about in the middle.
Earlier they used other words to hint at it. After they finally started to say the F word they kept using it more frequently.

By that time it was probably one of the least offensive things that they were doing.Very Happy

Memories of any old Manga Video release. They just filled their dubs with so much swearing to remind us all that anime was adult but it was such an absurd amount that it rendered virtually any scene a comedy.

I felt that there was a degree of that in the recent High School DxD dub, though I was generally able to ignore it.

Actually, Desert Punk doesn't have a single f-bomb in it. Shocking, I know.

And Ghost Stories reminded me that the gag dubs for Super Milk-Chan and Shin-Chan both got pretty vulgar at times.

Welcome to the NHK has a bunch too, now that I recall.

Only a handful of them. Most of the colorful language in that one was boob and penis/ball-related.

The Michiko & Hatchin dub is turning out to be rather F-tastic. I've counted quite a few in the first four episodes so far.

Gotta say, it's rather odd hearing Caitlin Glass drop some F-bombs. Shocked
