I wish they would just make a new season already.... They've started to cover material that would be better off in a new season.. |

There's been an unconfirmed rumor that at some event it was announced Kenichi would be getting a new season in 2014 with 45 episodes. Take it with a grain of salt for now but let's hope it does happen. |

The dilemma is that they're animating battles out of order now if this article is to be believed. At least with the previous OVA's they were slowly building from where they left off.
It's a bit anti-climactic to jump around to "just the good stuff" It's also impossible to enjoy if you're anime-only. |
