The boxes have the classic TMNT logo, and you're showing pictures of the classic Turtles, but the toys are based on the modern TMNT show currently running on Nick. You can tell by the elbow/knee pads (brown instead of individual colored) and, more obviously, Leo & Donnie's belt straps. The double straps on Leo and the ring on Donnie are distinctly TMNT 2012.

I'm sure there's more nostalgia for the original 80's series overall. Despite the failure of the 2003 series over there they are airing a Japanese dub of the latest show sometime next year.

They're not even really basing it off the newest series, either, because each of the characters have visual changes (like Don's buck teeth) so you could tell them apart even without the bandanas.
Other than the outrageous price tag, my biggest problem with these is that they're palette swaps. The "angry" look on the face (due to the shape of the eye holes in the banana) only works for Raph.
