Anime teasing the idea of two girls being in love with each other but the show's narrative always insisting on saying "best friends" is painfully common, especially in girls doing nothing shows. The manga has a lot more actual yuri than that, but Studio DEEN generally does a terrible job with more or less everything, so I'm kind of concerned that the anime will tone it down into just another cute girls show. I hope not and the trailer seems to be indicating that it won't do that, but I basically just don't trust DEEN to do anything right. |

Maybe it's just me, but Aiba Miu from Magical Warfare, looks way too much like Shana or a combination of both her various forms.

Deen's Rozen Binchou-Tan and more recently, Rozen Maiden, were pretty good... in my opinion

Wow magical warfare read like the most generic thing ever, maybe it'll be good! Like 1/3 way trough the story there's gonna be a big game changer like madoka, maybe the MC was actually working for the bad guy all along or something.
Sakura trick, like it was mentioned before "What follows is a funny and wistful coming-of-age story about the ultimate best friends forever!" really seems like it's just gonna be another cute girl doing nothing. Could be cool if one of the two is lesbian but not the other one, this way they could have it be tame enough while still having interesting event happening. Buddy complex….it's called buddy complex it gotta have BL in it, right, right? Oh what's that, oh it's juts gonna be gundam seed again… Well maybe if there's a character like Flay in it. Or some, hot mechs "action" in it, Rika from Haganai would approve

I really, really wish people would shut up about Sakura Trick. It's ONE anime out of 40+
/a/ is going to terrible when it airs, ugh. |

Well that's the best case scenario, in my opinion. But there's a possibility that they'll decide to have neither be lesbian. So between 0/2 or 1/2, I'd rather it be 1/2. Plus it's something that's relatively unheard of in anime, there's only one other anime I can think of that did that (the MC was really tall, don't remember the name) but if I remember right she had a crush on her BF but she never told her so it kinda went nowhere. |

There are a lot of manga adaptations that jus said "Screw it!" to the source material and went their own way.

/a/ is terrible when anything airs. Actually, /a/ is just terrible in general. Seriously though, the threads about Space Dandy have some of the dumbest comments I've ever seen on the internet. But anyway, you obviously hate yuri, do you have a tumblr? I know it's not really a 'discussion' type website, but considering it seems to be mostly girls and a lot of them are heavily into m/m ships you might want to consider if not. Most of the people I follow are BL fans so if you want to surround yourself in BL talk it wouldn't be that hard. |

Because people really want this to be yuri, so at the same time they are very nervous about DEEN not doing it right. |
