How has no one mentioned JManga here yet? Huge variety of titles, you can pay either for a subscription or buy points which are used to buy volumes. There's also Jmanga7 which tries to serialise series as they're being released in Japan. I'm not sure how the subscription works for that site, but I imagine it's similar to Jmanga.

Looking at my old posts, I posted about it right after it was announced last year. When I have time, I might go back and flesh out those earlier posts.

For now anyone who wants to check out Jmanga, here's their titles-
http://www.jmanga.com/list/series/alpha-all

They've gone through a few versions, but basically it's similar to VIZ's format where you buy volumes of books and read them online. Though they don't have any apps yet from my understanding.

http://jmanga7.com/magazine/week_list.html?weekday=TUE Jmanga7 is a site where they serialize their licenses in a format more closer to a magazine, with some chapters behind a paywall, and some free with new chapters each day

JManga does have an Android app, but they don't seem mention on their site.

However, it might be worth mentioning that the folks at Crunchyroll(who helped with the technical side of the site) don't seem to be too optimistic about JManga's likelihood of survival; while he obviously doesn't speak for all them, one staff member went so far as to state "JManga is going to die. It's[sic] fate is already sealed." - not exactly a ringing endorsement(though I personally feel it's more a matter of getting the right titles - this is likely part of the reason they've been chasing yuri as hard as they have, since the dearth of the genre in print makes any title that gets licensed instantly notable).
