This sounds like a bunch of extra effort, but I wish there were links to their ANN pages or maybe just their best known works in parentheses or something. I say this because I'm terrible with names and had to do a bunch of searching to figure out who was who! I'm sure I missed some people who'd be awesome to interview, but I didn't want to spend forever figuring out who everyone was.

Pick one. We're only going to be looking at statistically relevant submissions (we do look to interview interesting, less well known people too, we just don't look to surveys for those). If your other two are important enough, someone else will think to add them.

That makes sense. And I really do appreciate and enjoy when you guys go out of your way to interview the interesting, less well known people. For the purposes of the survey, I will add Mr. Nobuyuki Fukumoto as people are more likely to be familiar with his works such as "Kaiji" and "Akagi". Though I would highly recommend Shuho Sato as a guest as well. He really has his finger on the pulse of industry and he is not one to shy away from answering the difficult questions. In addition to being a terrific mangaka, he has written extensively on the condition of the manga industry in Japan and has spearheaded some of the more progressive movements to spread the popularity of lesser-known manga worldwide, including his current project, MangaReborn.

Aya Hirano is a mangaka?
I added Gosho Aoyamo, mangaka of Detective Conan.

I had to really restrain myself with the English voice actors, but I still probably selected nearly everybody who ever had a major part in a Funimation release, and Wendee Lee.
I also added Carrie Savage.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this someday.

I don't think Megumi Toyoguchi creates manga, but I voted for her anyway, and wouldn't be shocked to learn she does.

I'd like to hear Helen McCarthy on ANNcast again. That time you had her on she was absolutely delightful.

In line with Helen McCarthy, it would be great to try and get Jonathan Clements on the podcast at some point, seeing as he's a fairly respected and talkative fellow in the industry.

Also, while probably a bit more niche in terms of general ANN audience, a UK themed podcast with Andrew Partridge over at Anime Limited and/or the guys over at Manga UK would be pretty wonderful. They seem a fairly friendly and candid bunch when dealing with questions. Funimation is nice and all, but throw us across the bond a bone every once and a while. ^^

I added Nakashima Kazuki to the list. He wrote the scripts for Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann and adapted his stage play, Oh! Edo Rocket, into an animated series.

I'd be especially curious to hear how he and Imaishi worked together on a show like Kill la Kill. How does the scriptwriter and director collaborate on an original anime work like that one? If you ever interview Shinbo or Urobuchi, I'd ask them the same question about Madoka.

It's the very bottom option in each section labeled "Other" with space to write in a name.

Actually, I removed it about 36 hours in (48 hour survey). I was tired of editing the stupid entries, and by that point no new submissions would end up being statistically relevant.

I always wanted to hear Urobuchi's comments on Psycho-Pass.
